Great vehicle with luxury amenities and fuel economy

Great car with all the bells and whistles. This car delivers all the amenities without the high end price. Luxury and comfort. Great value for the money. The mileage and fuel economy are the added benefit. Love my Elantra. Nothing spared on the luxuries and the price is a steal. Makes a conscious consumer feel they stole a great vehicle.

Hybrid Elantra is Fabulous

I love my Hyundai Elantra. It's exactly what I was looking for: a small, four-door hybrid vehicle. It's smooth, quiet, gets great mileage, and has room in the back seat for two cart seats.

Great warm weather fuel economy.

Very comfortable car. Decent fuel economy in warm weather. Two diagnostic codes within 4,000 miles. The last code required an extended stay at the dealer due to a parts delay. Ended up being unreliable. I traded for a 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy and couldn’t be happier.

Great, But

Have had problems with being locked out. Was never given the stick to open the door when the remote did not work. The remote and the spare both had fresh batteries. Had to have the car towed to Hyundai and it was there for some time and they tried to convince me that nothing was wrong. Even wrote up a false statement on the worksheet.

Overall a Great Vehicle but has some annoying quirks

The car is stylish, handles well and gets amazing gas mileage (50 mpg in the summer). The only thing I do not like, and it's very annoying, is that the "driver attention" assistance goes off constantly and there is no way to adjust it or turn it off. It starts chiming and flashing "consider taking a break" frequently within 2 miles of starting a trip. This when I have both hands on the wheel and and tracking straight in the lane. It also tells me to "put both hands on the steering wheel" when both hands are ON the wheel - at 10 and 2 usually. I'm not a careless or casual driver. The dealer told me that it's my driving style causing it and frankly I was insulted. Anyway there's no way to turn it off in a 2024 or to adjust the sensitivity so I just have to live with it. The other thing is that it does not have remote start. There's remote start through the app but after 3 years you have to pay $15 per month to use it. There's a remote start button on the key fob so I just assumed it had remote start but not so. I'll pay to have it installed rather than pay $15 a month for their app after the free period runs out.
