Fun to drive, Utility combined with a very pleasant driving experience

I have 75k on this car, bought new in 2011, very reliable and surprisingly fun to drive. I am over six feet and history in sports cars, racing Alfa Romeo for many years. This car would probably surprise on the track, though I have not tried it. Does everything well, clutch pedal the only complaint - "feels like it is attached to nothing at all!". Reasonable fuel economy, lots of room for me and my stuff - a garage/estate sale junkie. I intend to keep the car past 100K.

Quirky but dependable

I have a 2011 Hyundai Touring Wagon and am reasonably happy with it. Love the room in back and sunroof, seat warmers. It's not a smooth ride and doesn't have the tightest turn radius but this little car does great on road trips. It's a good value.

Good little commuter but needs 5 spd tranny

I really like this car except that it only has a 4 speed transmission. It gets a good 32-33mpg on the road running back and forth from Baxter to Cookeville,but if I drive it on interstate highways it drops to 28-29 mpg. If only they made a 5 spd automatic it would be a great car.

Why this??

This has been a very reliable car with very little repair work after 150,000 miles. The only thing that broke down early was the front seat fabric. I had to put on seat covers. The only other thing that was troubling was the excessive nagging to renew my warrentee after 100,00 miles.

2011 Hyundai Elantra Assets

Has given good service and after owning many new cars in our lifetime this car was my husband's favorite. Plenty of oomph and ease of getting in and out of a relatively small car. Lots of room for traveling and very good gas mileage. Wpuld definitely purchase another Hyundai from Fitzgerald.

Reasonably priced reliable car.

I purchased this vehicle new in 20ll based on previous experience with Hyundais, which have proven, in the past to be reliable. It now has 80,000 miles and still runs well. I am conscientious about having recommended service performed every 5,000 miles and I have had no unexpected problems. I purchased the Elantra Touring model as a replacement for a hatchback which was no longer available. I liked the hatchback better.

good car. I love the color. front seats are comfortable back seats not so much. i dont like the low profile tires. they look nice but not practical in NYC. suspension is a bit hard I feel every pothole.

Fast professional service

I like TEAM Hyundai for many reasons. They do great work, they are professional, they are reasonably priced and they are close to me. I would recommend them to anyone. My minor complaint is not specific to this dealership. My issue is, sometimes the service desk and the mechanics do not communicate 100% effectively amongst themselves. In this instance I provided some "customer supplied parts". The service desk accepted them with no problem. However, the engine air filter I supplied was the incorrect size. I didn't discover this issue until I left and saw the air filter still in the box in my car. I returned to the parts vendor, purchased the correct part number, installed it in five minutes and went on my merry way. It would have been nice to hear about this from TEAM Hyundai staff upon checkout. Again, a minor issue. TEAM Hyundai did a great job, washed my car and got me on the road for a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time. They also offered shuttle service. I like to support my local dealership and I would hope that you would as well.

My husband bought this car in 2012- we just paid it off- and he will not trade it in. It has needed little service and is reliable. It is the perfect car for country roads (unpaved) or highway. Glad we bought it>

Good car

This has been a good dependable car. Roomy inside to carry a lot of things too. Good car for the money. Leaving off a star because it could have more get-up and go, merging on a freeway can be a bit tough to get up to speed sometimes. Bit overall a really good car.

My opinion of the 2011 SE Elantra Touring

I ordered the manual transmission 5 speed. Did not want an automatic. No dealership in my immediate area had a manual transmission SE Touring in stock. My dealership found one 200 miles from here. I had to put a $500 deposit (non-refundable) on it.

Great vehicle for the value.

The vehicle is great however the cloth seats can not be cleaned as they show all the watermarks. We have had it in to see what could be done with the seats and to no avail. It must have been faulty material used that can't be cleaned. It is the only disappointing part of the car as it looks terrible inside even when you have just cleaned it.

Economy car

Decent economy car with good inside space that can seat 5. Had to replace transmission at 25k and the A/C sensor Unit ($400) at 65k. Trans is starting to act up at 75k. Car drives ok and has decent pick up.

My Elantra Touring is great for what it is. I find I like a bit larger vehicle and wish I'd gone with the regular Elantra.

My friends all think my vehicle is adorable and sporty. I think it doesn't have a sweet ride - kinda' bumpy at best. I wanted it and I certainly can't complain about the ability to do what it's supposed to do. I will be back when I want a new vehicle.

Cute but uncomfortable

I really like the way the car looks and drives. The seats are, however, extremely uncomfortable and the ride is anything but smooth- every bump in the road is a jolt up my back. It was what I could afford and so I am grateful to have the car.

Nice, dependable car, but has some buzzes and squeaks

I like the Elantra sufficiently that I'm now on my second one. It's a dependable and affordable car. One area where it falls short is in the build quality of stuff like the head-liner (which constantly develops annoying little buzzing sounds) and heating vents, whose levers break off. Overall, it's a great value, but if stuff like repetitive noises bothers you (as they do for me), you might want another make.

Hyundai Elantra Touring

I like the mid-size interior room in it that serves my family size. I don't like that it turned out to be not an all wheel drive as I wanted, so its performance on the snow is low. Going uphill, even just in the low hill to the parking lot of where I live, is bad. It feels flimsy and light against the wind.
