My Elantra touring

Great car for passengers and cargo. I am so disappointed you no longer have this model. It's a great stationwagon and I like that it doesn't have all-wheel drive. I also love your warrantee. I wish it didn't need brake rotors and pads so frequently.

Touring 2012

Has had electrical issues that started after 15,000 miles. The motor runs well, poor gas milage 25 miles to gallon. needed recall work which was taken care of during oil changes. I feel safe in the car its well made and drives real good in the snow, and on ice too.

great reliable car

All I ask for is reliability. and the hyundai elantra has given me that. I appreciated the warranty that came with the car that was no extra charge. I appreciated the elantra touring as a station wagon to allow large items to be carried in the back.

We are very happy with this car.

Compact with room

This car has been very good to me. It has great tight space maneuvering, has amazing loading space in the back cargo area. My long legged sons claim the back seat area is spacious and it drives well in snowy conditions. I researched this car when I was downsizing from the Soccer Mom van I had driven for years. I still wanted something that I could load garden supplies in and the occasional "alley finds"that feed my creative side. This fit the bill. Down sides are: The doors collect ice in the winter and it is not compatible with I -phone bluetooth. I am overall very happy with Hyundai and would definitely consider buying a Hyundai again.

I love my car

I use to have a Toyota, but one day I test drove Hyundai and fell in love. It runs smooth, great space to store or transport things, great on gas, and very minor repairs needed since I've had my car. My daughter has a Hyuandi as well and she says the same thing about her car

Fantastic

I absolutely love my car. Bought it new in 2012 and have always gotten it serviced and have had NO problems with it. I live around mountains and love the get up and go. Car has plenty of power to pull uphill and good acceleration around vehicles and such. Love my little Touring Hatchback. Also, another impressive feature, I think, is the spacious back seating. Plenty of room for passengers to be comfortable without feeling confined. Excellent.

We have bought three Hyundai’s at Doug’s. Sales were excellent in helping us choose the right cars and service is always top notch and reasonably priced. Never have had any mechanical problems with any of the cars. Very reliable!

Excellent little hatchback

My Elantra is a manual and it drives smooth even when I make a mistake on the sifts. the suspension is a bit stiff and the trunk can resonate some noise if you have items that you carry with you like a case of tools and a bag of extra clothing.

2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring

Bought this car "new" in February 2013, with ~3000 miles on it as a demo/loaner. I have been very happy with her, followed recommended maintenance, occasionally the big-deal happens and hey, thats what owning a car is about. Nothing to throw me off Hyundai...if anything, wish they still sold the same model (think this was a place-holder with a Euro-model...i30... until new Elantra was introduced here). Quick (wife calls her "Zippy"), which is what one would expect from a 16-valve, DOHC engine...when did we forget about what makes a 4 cyl "hot?" 80K on her now, and I hate to think of the time coming that I will have move her along...she's my honey!

More than expected

The car has run over 98,000 miles and keeps going. There have been a few issues over time that were all taken care of under warranty from Hyundai. It is a good family hauler, with more than enough room in the hatch carrying everything from the kids school bags to groceries to the annual Christmas tree. Having never owned a Hyundai before, I didn't know what to expect and have been pleasantly surprised.

Good summer car.

compare to a 2009 that I had, it is a lot better. i wish it had blue tooth to connect my smart phone. i'm giving it a 3 stars for the reason that I'm not to crazy about the brakes in the snow. you truly, really have to drive super careful in the snow. Once I was going down a hill not to steep and when I applied the brakes, I slid into the intersection and around the corner. thank God no cars were coming. in the rain and dry run. its ok. I would think this vehicle is more for the summer than for the winter. otherwise it runs well. I had mine for 7 years now it is reliable to get around and take it cross country on vacation. the A/C is very good and the heat is great. Just like anything else, How you take care of the car, will determine how long it will last. i'll keep it until something else comes along.

Love my car!

My Hyundai Elantra Touring is just the perfect size for me as a single woman yet provides enough seating and storage for me to take fellow convention attendees with me to the big city. The car turns on a dime, is easy to park, and drives well in heavy traffic. I especially like the covering for the storage compartment.

Touring 2012

Your company no longer makes tourings and i am not going to purchase the one that took its place. I have driven one and dont like at all too small and too much cabin noise. The car is too low for me to get in and out of.

Problems Over Time

When I first purchased my Hyundai, I loved it. But as years go by, you realize that Hyundai cars are make with crappy parts and won’t be buying another one. Car was taken to Piazza Hyundai in West Chester where I received faulty repairs and ended up taking car to another mechanic to have the same repairs fixed and Piazza Hyundai would not refund me my money back.

Love it!

My Elantra Touring is, by far, the best car I’ve owned! From turning circumference to hauling capacity to driving enjoyment, it fits exactly what I need in a vehicle. My regret is that it is no longer being produced. I would definitely have bought another when my present car needs to be replaced.

Hyundai is a great car

I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring which they unfortunately no longer make. I love the car, the hatrchback is perfect for me. I made the mistake of buying it used last April with 42000 miles on it from a non-Hyundai dealer. Eventhough the carfax said it had no problems I do believe it got wet - maybe flooded, which has caused problems with the electrical system. The dealer said they would fix the problem but did not do it. Lesson learned. Hyundai is a great car, but make sure you buy from a Hyundai dealer.

Love my Elantra SW

I love my Elantra Touring! I only wish that you would come out with a 2019 version. I especially like that the back seat falls down. It provides plenty of space for hauling things! It drives like a charm. Let's come out with a 2019 version!
