Great compact suv

Overall no complaints for what I paid for. The only desire maybe would be powered hatch or a button of some sorts. Also, fuel milage in the AWD surprised me to get 26 on average rather than close to 30 mpg. Lastly, the room in the back even with seats down is solid, but can always want more.

Poor solution for an ongoing problem no

At 2 different dealerships, I've had 4 horns installed, 2 at each dealer. I've driven many different cars many miles and not once has a horn failed. My 2023 Kona with less than 9000 (not a typo, 9000) miles on it is an anger-producing, time-wasting exception. Today I called the dealer that installed the last disaster, left a pointed voicemail midmorning and hadn't received a call back by close of business. I'm not sure what to do next but I'm fuming. Let's see if a higher-up sees this and reaches out. I've never had a problem like with any other brand of car. This is probably my first and last Hyundai.

Small and peppy, turbo and weight class make the car seem faster.

My vehicle is an “N” series, therefore it does have some bells and whistles. Overall, the interior finish is weak. It’s not as comfortable as I thought it would be, but quite frankly I only use it a to drive a few miles a day. Comfort could be a lot better and I understand that Hyundai has redone the Kona to be a little bit more comfortable.

Subpar in every conceivable way

I got the SEL convenience package, and since I got the vehicle during COVID, I didn’t see a comparable car. No washer fluid for back window, navigation system works sometimes, you can count on not being able to unlock or lock your car using keyless entry, no ventilation in the back of the car, garage door opener can’t be integrated into car, trouble getting up to speed merging into traffic the list goes on and on.
