After spending some time behind the wheel, I can confidently say the 2024 Kona N Line hits the mark. If you’re looking for a compact SUV that doesn’t feel like a compromise, this is a strong contender. The Drive: Speedy & Responsive The first thing you notice is the zip. The 1.6L Turbo engine provides more than enough punch for quick highway merges and darting through city traffic. Hyundai swapped the old dual-clutch for a traditional 8-speed automatic this year, and the difference is clear—it’s smooth, predictable, and stays in the power band exactly when you need it to.

Best First Car Ever

This is my first car that I bought in my name. This was easily the best decision I made when I saw this car. The design is so sleek and beautiful. I love the look of the touch screen. I love all the features of it, lane assist, back up camera and CarPlay. Coming from having a 2013 Hyundai Sonata which had no features besides heated seats this was a big upgrade. I can’t stress enough how much I love this car.

Fun to drive and very comfortable

We love everything about this car--comfort, style, heated seats and steering wheel, performance is super--the only issue is the radio. I still have not figured out how to work it in over two years. There are no buttons and when I want my favorite stations I need to search, but they are not always there. It's a mystery and often creates a dangerous distraction, when it should be simple. Who needs to reinvent car radio buttons?

Most "fun to drive" car I've ever had ... and I'm old

My Kona is two years old and looks and drives like it was new. Just finished a trip and gas mileage on highway was over 40 miles per gallon.

I like the kona

The only thing I’m not that fond of is the color. Especially during pollen season. It rides well I’m not too sure about the gas mileage though it seems like I get less miles per gallon than I used to have my Buick encore.

I really like the car. The manual is very thick and I have given up on learning about all of the options that are on the car. I am a little disappointed in the size of the trunk as it is smaller than my Hyundai Sonata trunk. People are complimentary of the car.
