Minor changes

Side mirrors should fold in automatically. Rear wiper should be mounted at the top so hidden when not in use. Transmission buttons (P,R,N) should be mounted on the dash, to avoid something from accidentally falling and hitting them while driving.

The best care I’ve owned

I cannot believe how comfortable and convenient everything in this vehicle is, my second one our first was a 2022 and this time we upgraded to a Caligraphy.

Paint Quality

I have never had issues with a vehicle’s paint job during a lease from any other car company. The Hyundai Palisade has had two issues with the paint coming off, one was at pick up and the dealership had to fix it, and they fixed it with the wrong color paint. Then the other time was the paint chipped off randomly. Very disappointed.

Vehicle is very well made, feature rich and economical to operate.

I am very pleased with the performance, reliability, comfort and looks of my Palisade. It is a very economical vehicle to operate and the features are compatible, if not better, than many higher priced vehicles. The interior space is excellent for all passengers, including the 3rd row seating area. The warranty period is exceptional and the monthly reports on my vehicle status are very helpful. I highly recommend the Hyunasi Palisade Caligraphy edition.

Car is ok - not my favorite vehicle

I do like that it takes regular gas and the MPG is pretty good at all settings. The space is good and my husband loves the seat extender on the driver's side. I like the heated/cooled seats for front and middle. I do not like that I have to reset mirrors because it will not save settings; that door unlock is picky - sometimes taking 3-4 times before door will unlock when touching door handle. To me that is very unsafe. I felt like I stepped down when I got this - I went from owning MDXs for over 15 years - every two years a new one - but there is not an Acura dealer near met, so had to go with the next best thing. Have already had to have rear shocks replaced - at Hyundai's expense and paint has chipped off hood of car - also redone at Hyundai's expense.

Lots of great tech at a reasonable price

The styling isn't great but the versatility of this vehicle makes up for what is lacks in pizazz. Comfortable seating for 7, over the top technology not (yet) present in other vehicles in the same class and superior warranty make the Palisade a winner.

If you're in tune with vehicle DO NOT BUY

Since day 1 this Palisade runs like crap you can feel the engine in the floor/ wheel/ seat. The throttle sensitivity seems to change at every stoplight. One stoplight it will be normal and the next you can't give it enough gas to get the thing to move. Then the next you're spinning tires. The transmission and all technology in this thing is so poorly programmed its sad. Attempting to pass someone with this car you might as well floor it beacause if you don't you may never get a downshift. The transmission is programmed to lock the converter at such low speeds you can feel the engine shuddering and chugging along then it refuses to downshift. Once it finally decides to downshift you have so much throttle applied the thing takes off with unassuming torque steer. If you drive it in comfort, "intelligent" LOL or eco its all virtually identical trash with different gauge layouts. Sport is so "sporty" it destroys fuel economy however it's the only mode I can stand in slower day to day commuting. We had the dealer reflash the transmission and it has not helped. The stereo and all infotainment system is glitchy, locks up and freezes quite frequently and the updates are excessively long. Apple carplay is very bad with feezing up. Sometimes when we power the vehicle on the infotainment screen will never even power on. It will remain black and do nothing. We have to turn the car off, wait a minute then restart it. Then it's as if there waas never a problem. When you start the car the smell that the HVAC system expells is a very offensive chemical / poop scent that goes away after roughly 3 minutes. This is a very loud interior to travel in. Road noise is pretty noisy. Not too much sound deading in there. PROS! The adaptive cruise is an excellent very mindful safe setup. I do not recommend changing lanes with it on If you're driving a bit below your cruise setting. It will drop some gears and take off to get to speed almost taking out the vehicle you're trying to go around. Overall vehicle comfort and ride quality is pretty decent and excellent for road trips especially if it's highway. The palisade gets pretty solid fuel mileage especially for its class.

Great buy

We picked this over the kia teluride for several reasons but mainly bang for your buck. I did feel alittle ripped off at the end of the sale when you find out you'll have to tack on extra money each month for an expensive warranty and service agreement. We didn't include that in our decision making process and it was too late to back out by then. I don't think we'll be buying another new car because of this.
