Sadly disappointed

I was loving my brand new Palisade for the first 3 months, then the parking sensor broke and so did the hands on steering wheel sensor. Then the paint and trim started coming off to reveal that it is only a very thin layer of paint to begin with. And not this special overcoat they put on planes to protect their paint as we were told. Then tried to make an appointment to address these issues and it was more than a month out! Oh! And the gas tank door has never worked properly since we bought this car. We have to pry it open. Not at all what I expected from a brand new car.

Paint is cheap, warranty is iffy, cruise control isn’t the best

Good overall, but gas pedal has a delay, cruise control isn’t ideal, and paint issue with no warranty support makes me upset.

I would recommend a Hyundai Palisade!

My Palisade provides me with all of the room I need. There’s plenty of room for hauling a lot. It’s been very reliable so I am confident taking anywhere including out of state trips.

2025 Hyundai Palisade

Overall review is excellent, with one exception. The side mirrors cannot be automatically folded in which is UNEXEPTABLE at this price point. I believe this capability is present in lower model palisades.. it a “what the heck realization”. I even had a sales associate try to tell me the function existed and referred me generically to YouTube videos. I am not that customer and if Hyundai wants a return customer- DO BETTER. By the way, because you are asking a duplicate question about whether I would recommend I am answering the second instance of the SAME question in the negative just because of your lack of detail and use of my time.

Multiple recalls

Was requested to bring car in for recalls, when arrived there is no fix! Parts had to be ordered and it has been months or there is still no fix to recall. Why have your customer come in for a recall just to order parts... that is ignorance at its best.

Brand New SUV, Major Problems Already

I purchased my 2025 Hyundai Palisade brand new, expecting reliability and safety for my family, but this has been one of the most disappointing vehicle experiences I’ve ever had. Before even reaching significant mileage, the transmission had to be completely replaced. On top of that, the vehicle already needs brakes, which is concerning for such a new SUV. There have also been multiple recalls involving important safety and performance issues, including seatbelt recalls, emissions-related recalls, and other defects. For a vehicle at this price point, I expected much better quality control and dependability from Hyundai. Spending this much money on a brand-new SUV should not come with major transmission failure and repeated recall notices this early into ownership. The dealership experience has been frustrating because instead of enjoying a new vehicle, I’ve spent time dealing with repairs, service visits, and concerns about long-term reliability. I would strongly encourage potential buyers to thoroughly research the current issues and recalls before purchasing a 2025 Palisade.

Lovely but recalls make it iffy

after owning the car a year I have received about two recall notifications. The car itself drives nice, has lots of space, beneficial tech features and it’s easy to navigate it all. Unfortunately getting two recalls at least within one year has made me second guess the quality and the build of the vehicle. Another personal downside is the location of where the usb port is for the CarPlay, where it is at makes it difficult to use the cup holder space and the touchless charging pad.
