Brand New SUV, Major Problems Already
I purchased my 2025 Hyundai Palisade brand new, expecting reliability and safety for my family, but this has been one of the most disappointing vehicle experiences I’ve ever had.
Before even reaching significant mileage, the transmission had to be completely replaced. On top of that, the vehicle already needs brakes, which is concerning for such a new SUV. There have also been multiple recalls involving important safety and performance issues, including seatbelt recalls, emissions-related recalls, and other defects.
For a vehicle at this price point, I expected much better quality control and dependability from Hyundai. Spending this much money on a brand-new SUV should not come with major transmission failure and repeated recall notices this early into ownership.
The dealership experience has been frustrating because instead of enjoying a new vehicle, I’ve spent time dealing with repairs, service visits, and concerns about long-term reliability.
I would strongly encourage potential buyers to thoroughly research the current issues and recalls before purchasing a 2025 Palisade.
