Great car if you get can parts for it

I loved my car when I had it. Beautiful car. Lots of options that are standard equipment with Hyundai. I had an accident and my Santa Cruz has been in the shop for 8 months due to lack of parts. Consider this when purchasing

Looks good.

Looks and drives very well. The features are ok but could be better. The backseats are not good, not enough legroom. Interior storage is not enough. Suspension is perfect. The exterior lights are very nice. Safety features are good, although backup sensors should be integrated.

Vehicle handles like an SUV and not a truck. I was expecting better fuel consumption. Spacious interior and plenty of storage. Like the bed liner and cover. Overall satisfied with my purchase and you cannot beat the vehicle warranty coverage.

Overall love it! There are areas that are need work and left me disappointed

Great vehicle room for improvement.the interior durability is really disappointing there are areas where the paint or plastic is pealing. The trim around the windows do not sit flush. There has been some jolting and like hiccups. The alignment is a frequent issue. Does have some shaking after a few months. A great ride nice vehicle and versatile.

Great but not without problems

Great styling and handling. Fuel economy is as advertised. Biggest issue is faulty electrical system, sound system shorts out. Driving without the radio is boring, losing hands free phone system is troublesome when you have to pull over to take calls and taking eyes off the road to look at the navigational map instead of relying on voice commands is dangerous. Other issue is door locks don’t work when car is off. Have to rely on key fob instead of exterior handles or interior door locks. Inconvenient in the winter to handle the fob for activating locks.

Love the suv truck style. Lights need update. Rear seats should fold down, should have more leg room in rear, better gas mileage, lower bank rates, spare tire, warning light tailgate open, more storage

Owning a Santa Cruz

I have owned this vehicle for a little over a month. It would be premature to write a review with any real deductions. At this point in time, I have driven approximately 1000 miles, and I can say I am very happy with the performance and overall operation of equipment. I realize this is a new product, and look forward to Hyundai using customer input that will make the Santa Cruz as popular as the Santa Fe has become over the years.

Love my Sports Adventure Vehicle

Great design, one that gets heads turning and thumbs up from other drivers of small and large trucks. I enjoy the ride and the front driver and passenger's room. The back is a little tight. I purchased the vehicle because aI love my smaller cars but needed room for Golf Clubs and tailgating. This is the perfect stylish vehicle.

Vehicle is amazing! But make sure you buy the Turbo

I have had this vehicle for over a year and it is great! I seriously love it. Just wish I would have purchased the Turbo model. Unfortunately, this thing is a little underpowered. I have travelled a lot in my Santa Cruz, almost 15k miles in 1 year.... Trips to the snow and desert and it did great. The non-turbo model will greatly struggle with power when faced with hills or mountains, especially when fully loaded. But Overall, this thing is great!

great vehicle

I love this car like SO much. I feel I was tricked into spending WAY more than it is worth. I would have liked more transparency in the dealership operations and more care for the buyer. I know sales are about money, but I will be paying this car off for seven years, and the cost I am paying is far more than it was or will ever be worth. I was overcharged and fell into the classic dealership "take advantage of you" situation. I thought that was a myth, but it turns out I am gullible and easily screwed over. I love my car, but when I drive it every day, I think about how I was taken advantage of and spent WAY too much money. Due to this, I will not be able to afford a new car for a VERY long time.

would be better if the trans was better.

trans, is not very good ,Hyundai needs to get away from that duel clutch trans, they weren't any good in the Tucson with the 1.6 turbo . what made the company think putting it with a 2.5t would make it any better. once a problem always a problem. put a 8 speed auto trans in it and hyundai would have a outstanding vehicle.

There are transmission issues from the beginning - high rpms before changing/shifting gears. Now, I hear there is a recall that I hope will correct the issue. The rear sliding window is manual (needs to be remote controlled).

Love vehicle, with a few exceptions/concerns

Loved vehicle from the first pictures I saw of it. It was unique, and I fell in love with it from the beginning. After a year of ownership, I still love it. But I have some concerns about some issues I’ve noticed that I chalk up to a problem with quality control/build quality. I am hopeful that I can reach a resolution with Hyundai to have this issue addressed

I'm border line right now. Not sure if I bought the right vehicle. (Service/Maintenance Issues). Follow up not good.

I bought this new style new and a scratch show up over the rear fender and the dealership told me there wasn't nothing they could do at three thousaand miles. Not a very good answer but I accepted it and moved own I chalked it up as a red flag of non support for something so simple and the answer was no. I donot know if I will ever purchase this type of vehicle again. I have always been a Ford, Dodge and a Chevy type of person due to quality and service of taking care of the customer no matter what. The world is different especially when you pay cash for a vehicle and you want the best of care/follow up service. My situation has started out bad with my first maintenance service when you start talking about money and there's a plan. Make me understand the plan especially since were using technology.

No tonneau cover or GPS

Terrific, stylish automobile. Love everything about it accept the fact it doesn’t come with a tonneau cover or navigation system. Shouldn’t these two features be standard on all trucks in 2023???? Just creates aggravation trying to buy these separately and have them installed. Also, I bought a hood deflector through Hyundai parts for $256.00 and went to have it installed at the dealer, and they wanted to charge me $300.00 to install it???? $44 more than I paid for it. Ridiculous.
