Has met my needs.

I have enjoyed my car very much. It has been great as far as snow conditions so far. With just about 8,000 miles it has served me well. I find the ride and getting in and out of the car very easy, not too low to the ground.

Great car some issues

Great car. A few issues with the tail gate. And a recall for a sticker as of now. Inside door handles on both passenger and driver door both had to be replaced. As of late the car rpm’s go really high and then slow down

Great mid size pickup truck

Great exterior styling/comfort, amazing pickup, good driving experience and awesome fuel economy for a truck. I do not like interior and some tech features that it can have. Could have done better with technology features that will help drivers with towing and driving.

2022 Santa Cruz

Fun vehicle to drive especially in sport mode. Was disappointed that the truck bed was not water tight. Additionally in extreme cold (especially after rain and temp drops to freezing you cannot open tailgate or roll back cover.

I like the vehicle

Fix the bed cover to make it waterproof, acceleration and transmission need to react right away without the engine just reeving, most cargo storage needs to be added to the interior of the vehicle and cargo area.

Well designed for its purpose

Overall very satisfied with performance and mileage. Wish LED headlights were standard. Appreciate the rear bumper with intregal corner steps. Wish the storage bin in the truck bed was at least a few inches deeper.

Really enjoy the vehicle and design. Only negatives thus far is fuel consumption and road noise. Very comfortable and functional. Handles well in poor weather conditions, including winter conditions. Meets expectations.

Excellent but not Awesome

I fell in love with the Santa Cruz with the first time I saw it on a highway. I know I needed to find out more about it. I did my research and located one to my liking. In all I'm glad I bought it and am having a lot of fun driving it. The bed comes in very handy for my purposes. I would recommend the Santa Cruz to anybody looking for this type of vehicle.

Nice vehicle but has some quality problems

I’ve always liked the Hyundai & Kia product lines. The Santa Cruz in Standard 2.5 non turbo option is slightly underpowered which heavily affects fuel mileage on hilly roads. Overall it’s a nice vehicle but has low beam visibility issues & minor quality control issues. If I would have known these things I would have invested in the higher level model.

Great small truck

This is a great truck. The styling reminds me of the Subaru Baja or even an El Camino. It drives more like an suv or car vs a truck. It has plenty of cabin space for 4 large adults to fit comfortably. The only con I could think of is the transmission does take some getting used to.

Great vehicle fun to drive very responsive

Some of the exterior parts are cheap quality non lasting specially the plastic trims fading already I wish I came up with painted trim parts rather than the cheap plastic the front Crome grill chips and the center console scratch easily just by cleaning

Enjoyed my 2022 Santa Cruz until it was totaled. Replaced it with 2023 Santa Cruz. Apparently I can’t get out of this survey without using two hundred characters which is becoming very annoying to me.

Wonderful small truck!

Purchased this base Santa Cruz a year ago as a second vehicle. Very pleased with the overall design and performance. Absolutely no issues during my first year of ownership. Availability was difficult at that time so it took a lot of research to locate a dealer who had one in inventory and sold at list price! Kudos to New Port Richey Hyundai as they were wonderful to deal with! My only regret in hindsight was that I didn’t move up to a more optioned model as the base lacked some features that I really could have used!

love the truck

Over all I love the truck. It has a few quirks, but I would still buy. The road noise is my biggest concerns. I thought it would be quieter with big tires. The Vents are small and narrow don't really like the design. The Media screen goes black intermitted. Sound for radio not that good and I REALLY MISS A CD player. I'm old school and don't stream music and don't know how and also I don't want to learn.

Different than anything else on the road. You will stand out.

If you want to stand out in a crowd of cross over vehicles, this is the one to do it with. Only real issue is the loud ac unit. And the aim of the headlights. For the price point these issue could have been better with easy fixes.
