Love it, but the infotainment needs work

I love our new Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy, it's so nice to drive and looks great. It's the perfect amount of roomy for our family of 3 with a toddler in a carseat. The one thing that drives me crazy is the infotainment system. I had a 2019 Sonata with a better interface and features. The Sirius integration is terrible, you can't see the song titles or artist in the station list. You actually have to scroll to the channel name to see what's playing. Figuring out which phone is connected or playing sound is frustrating, and switching profiles takes so many buttons when it auto selected the wrong driver profile. I don't understand why the Hyundai interface has gotten significantly worse instead of better. I've owned many Hyundai in Genesis is over the years and this is shockingly bad. I also really hate that the steering wheel is in a bad spot and a strange size, I can't see the gauges or speedometer because the steering wheel blocks it. I don't like that the Lane cameras appear in the dashboard cluster instead of on the infotainment system like the backup cameras. The steering wheel blocks it, and it's not an intuitive spot to look. Even after months I still find myself looking around to find the lane departure cameras to check my blind spots. It is also manual steering wheel adjustment in the calligraphy package which seems cheap.

Love it!

I am happy with the gas mileage, the ride is nice and quiet. Seats fold down easily. Seats with perferstions grab dirt, and debris and hard to clean.

I Bought it twice

I bought a brand new Santa Fe hybrid in February and again in august after the new one was in a total loss collision. I was please with how the vehicle kept my family safe and purchase it again. While it has very thoughtfully designed features I find the vertical storage space in the back with all 3 rows up lacking. The captains chairs do not fold easily out of the way to allow for 3rd row access. It works for our family right now, but I probably won’t be purchasing a Third time

Fantastic family car

Can't beat having a 3-row SUV getting 30+ mpg. My only complaint is that I'm getting close to 32 mpg, rather than the advertised 34-35mpg. But it varies a bit from tank to tank. Other than that, I have had zero complaints. No issues yet (only 4,200 miles in) and it's perfect for my family. Very comfortable to ride in, great entertainment system, and drives smooth as can be.

Mostly good

I love many things about this vehicle. The size, the ride, the powertrain, the fit and finish on the interior are all very good. It’s a good car at a good price. The electronics are a bit finicky, the rear hatch and the technology interface are not always consistent. Sometimes I have to wave my foot too much or repeat the finger id too many times. I dislikes having my car in the shop for two weeks with only 1600 miles on it. But I had a great loaner, which is something.

I have a base model Santa Fe that is a hybrid. There is so much to this car for being a base model. It is a great looking car with many bonuses including the 40mpg. My parents have had a hybrid for years. I know know why.

Overall I like the car.

I wish you had not removed the feature of being able to lock the car when the door is open from the inside. If the keys were in the car, it would not lock. Also, when lowering the hatchback with the key fob, you can't just hit it to close. You have to continue holding it until it is completely closed. I do like the rear heated captain seats. My grandchildren do also. Some of the features to be set up are not user friendly for the set up process. I would have liked an aerial view of the car with a click of a button. When I want to view my parking, I have to put it in reverse. Unless I am missing a set up, this is the only way I've been able to figure it. My daughter has a Chevy Traverse and these are features I noticed with hers. With the Hybrid, the gas mileage is great. A good time to have this!

first day i got my vehicle my reverse cam and 360 view not working right i brought it back for warranty they fix it working for few week then back to again reverse and 360 view not working again same problem and its so hard to get appointment

Pros and vonsh

Pro: love the heads up display and other safety features Cons: no way to lock doors automatically when you leave car and no auditory sound if you leave the car running. Small key to unlock if battery is dead is a pain to get in the door

Hatch button hold down is insanely stupid

Hatch hold down is so unhelpful. It’s insane I have to hold it down for 10 seconds to close it. I get upset thinking about it
