I moved from a 2016 Tucson to the 2024 Hybrid and it is a big upgrade! The cameras are helpful and a hybrid makes a big difference

Great gas mileage!

I really like my Hyundai hybrid. There are some small annoyances on the interior. Why would you put cup holders in the door to accommodate no cup I have? Due to my short stature I find the length of the seat somewhat uncomfortable, I have to have the seat far more forward than I have in any other car I’ve had. I love most of the technology. Great screens, however it would be better if you had a physical volume knob for the audio. Connecting to my phone is outstanding and so easy to navigate the controls through the screen. Love love the heated steering wheel and ventilation for seats. A+ on hot days. I’m still learning about the features but like all the technology. Moderate size “trunk” area it has a cover installed to hide purchases, of which I haven’t used, but a nice feature. Not too much of a fan of the auto liftgate. I prefer the kick method better. Looks nice going down the road and headlights are very bright at night. I wish the moon roof opened further, it only opens for a standard size opening while the glass goes fully to the back of the vehicle. Great on snowy roads and gets around fabulously in all conditions. All in all I like the vehicle and am glad i purchased it.

2024 Tucson

Good comfort. Good features/options. Good interior size/room. It would be nice to have higher height on the rear tail gate opening. Quiet ride. Good gas mileage, but highway mileage is somewhat lower than expected around 31-32 mpg max on 70 mph flat interstates. But with proper weather conditions I can get up to 38+ mpg around town and shorter trips under 50 mph. I had two issues. I experience a loud engine knock/rattle starting at 2,500 - 3,000 RPM. Noise seems like it is coming from under the dash of the passenger side. It does not occur when revving while the vehicle is not moving. This is very annoying and occurs about 90% of the time. I took it to the dealer (with a video) and they said they could not recreate it. The 2nd issue is that I'm slowly losing engine coolant. After 18 months (from new), the coolant was under the "MIN" line. The dealer filled it up in January and now I noticed it is back down to the "MIN" line again (mid- April). I smell coolant at times after turning the vehicle off, but can't find any evidence of a leak on the vehicle or under the vehicle. The dealer was not able to find any leak either and when inspecting, the odor of coolant was not present.

Black beauty

I really like the look of this vehicle and get many positive compliments. The car is enjoyable to drive and has comfortable seating and leg room. It has ample cargo space. It is loaded with extras that would have cost much more in another make.

There is a problem with your battery configuration.

You need to look into your battery configuration the 2024 have major issues. Issues so bad my wife traded hers. I am looking into a class action lawsuit to get you to fix your vehicles.

Runs very well. When stopped, sometimes hesitates before going forward. 360 view cameras are great! Would like a better map system. Needs to let you know what streets are coming up rather than just telling you the road you're on. Look at Honda map.

Good Hybrid, With a Few Things That Could be Improved

Mileage is good, features are good. Where is falls down for me is that the Auto-hold, lane-assist are not persistent after turning the car off/on. Having to go through "pre-drive" checklists is mildly annoying. The other big one is the timing of the OTA updates. When I'm about to leave for work is a terrible time to have my vehicle undrivable while it does a system update for fifteen minutes. Give us a time to schedule it, or set it to run the updates after arrival of destination.

Fast and Fabulous Hybrid with Minor Storage Issues

This vehicle is fun, handles well and transitions smoothly between fuel sources. It has nice power for acceleration on the highway and in the mountains. I also really appreciate that the screen is integrated into the dash so the driver's view is unobstructed. The only major issue is it lacks adequate cabin storage for your keys, sun glasses and water bottle. The cupholders throughout are so shallow drinks fall out constantly. The side door "water bottle holders" are too small to fit any typical water bottle. All the cabin storage areas are painfully small and oddly shaped. However, the trunk has a surprising amount of room so it is great for hauling luggage and gear for a family of four. Although the car can't handle our water-bottles, the trunk can hold our luggage and even fits a large mountain bike in a pinch. Overall, we are enjoying our Tucson Hybrid.
