12V Battery Kept Discharging

Took the Tucson to two dealers. They couldn’t diagnose the problem causing the 12V battery discharging and ultimately both concluded the car wasn’t driven enough. They stated the car needed to be driven more than weekly, which is unacceptable. We’d travel and leave the Tucson at the airport and wouldn’t be confident the vehicle would start. Required a screwdriver to access the manual keyhole. Finally returned the car and Hyundai reimbursed us for the cost. Good on Hyundai!

More Comfortable than my RAV4

I leased two RAV4s before switching to my Hybrid Tuscon. I find it to be way more comfortable with features you would expect from a luxury vehicle. My only complaint is that there aren’t enough cup holders or general storage. I think the area in the car doors was intended to accommodate cups, but they actually do not fit. So if I have a coffee and a water, there’s no room for my passenger to also have a drink. I also had a problem with my air conditioner not working, but since it’s a lease and under two years old, the compressor replacement was covered by warranty.

Bad average per gallon. Nice smoothness on road

Per gallon avg has dropped significantly. No benefit of being a hybrid vehicle. Other gasoline vehicle in the same price have better economy.

Good, not perfect

The most irritating thing about the Tucson is the turning radius. I am not sure what it is but it is much wider than the Santa Fe Sport that I used to own. It makes it harder to maneuver when parking especially.

Just The Right Fit For Me

My Tucson is pretty much the right fit for my needs. I initially bought it for my wife but she passed away. We both liked the looks of our Tucson and the size. I now enjoy the fact that it is both electric and gas. This certainly gives me better gas mileage around town but a little less spectacular for highway mileage. I love the driver assist feature but really don't care for the pushbutton shifting. Nonetheless overall it's a great car.

Great Car!

With some minor issues (like the horn died the first month - which was quickly resolved) I can't praise this car enough! I love the feel when I drive it and it runs extremely well. The only thing is I wish I had better gas milage. Its a bit on the low end for hybrids.

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Blue

I love this car! I got the Blue trim hybrid. Comes w all the safety features of high end except a sunroof and surround camera. I need the lane assist and pings of awareness. The latest GPS gets updated automatically too. I feel safe. I bought it because I became a grandparent and now my babies in their car seats fit perfectly and are safe!

I love my car

Only issues I have found are my phone gets hot on the wireless charging spot, and the seatbelt is made for people larger than me and can be uncomfortable no matter the position.

Love this car

This Tuscon Hybrid is a dream car. I average 38-40 mpg and a fill-up is about $40-50. It handles great at highway speeds, is very quiet, and quite spunky at lift off!!!
