Love my 1st Tuscon

I am loving my 1st Tuscon Hybrid. I love all the tech and the panoramic sun roof. It has great gas mileage when driving locally but wish it got a little better on the highway. I really enjoy the automatic updates and that I can change the display theme.

Good vehicle for the value but with some quirks

In general I am pleased with the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid as its good value for the price. The exterior is sleek and looks stylish, and the interior is nicer quality with good technology and screen. The Eyesight technology has more cons than pros. I find it ridiculous that I can’t wear certain sunglasses with the eyesight not recognizing my eyes. Also the front sensors have nearly almost caused me to be in two accidents as it suddenly brakes very hard when the vehicle in front of me is not close to me.

Great car except for the pure insanity of the "take a break" insanity.

Overall a very nice vehicle in most regards. The pure worthlessness, aggravation, and total distraction of the "take a break" function that does absolutely nothing but aggravate and cause stress and distraction make it a car I can not recommend to others and have considered selling off.

Love the care BUT the eye camera for safety location is THE WORST

There are so many incredible things I love about this car BUT there is one major flaw! The eye sight sensor being BELOW the top of the steering wheel is a huge problem. It is constantly going off because it cannot see my eyes. I tend to drive with my hand towards the top of the steering wheel and this causes a problem for the detector. BAD DESIGN. Placement of this camera by the rearview mirror or somewhere else with a higher line of sight to the driver would be better!!

Horrible experience with vehicle

I bought bec of the features but have been facing a constant issue of digital cluster going blank even after multiple repair attempts and recall fixes. This has completely killed my excitement for a brand new vehicle and am stuck with a horrible issue. I am desperate for someone to help me out which i doubt will happen

Cheap with too many gimmicks

Poor suspension. Can’t turn off notifications. Noisy engine and noisy ride. I have written reviews before and no response from Hyundai.

Sept '26 Review of My Hyundai Hybrid

I have enjoyed my vehicle since I purchased it. Only a few items frustrate me. First: I don't understand why the radio doesn't stay on "Favorites" after the motor is turned off and then restarted. Many times, I am driving and realize my "Favorites" are not playing because I made a quick stop, turned off the car, and now my stations are no longer selected. Second: About once-a-week or so, when I am driving, I take my foot off the accelerator, and the car seems to brake itself a little. This happens again and again until I stop the car and drive again. I'm assuming the problem is related to the vehicle being a hybrid, but I'm not sure. It is an ongoing concern.

I can’t get it into cruise control.

I hate the lane assist. I have it turned off, because it pulls the car. I can’t get it to go into cruise control. I should be able to push cruise and it goes right in. Also, for a hybrid it averages 36 mpg

Overall generally love the car. Just a few nits. Can't see the controls in the daylight and nothing I found brightens them. Love the adaptive control, but don't like that I can't use it with polarized sun glasses. Wish there was some way to adjust the stopping time with the adaptive control. Seems like it doesn't slow down quick enough

This car fulfills all my dreams for a hybrid and more! The instrument panel was and is the ultimate final touch for me! My only wish /lament is that the door pocket is too narrow to hold my 24-oz Contigo water bottle.
