I Miss My 2023

I traded in my 2023 tuscon hybrid limited for the same trim and model in 2026, mainly for the change in the sound while in reverse. I now regret that decision. There are some nicer upgrades. I do like the heads up display and Google maps. However, there is a little magnetic area on the side driving cluster that seems pointless, but would have been a great location for a magnetic wireless phone charger. The new version of the digital key is not nearly as convenient or useful as the older version. Since the first time I drove on the highway, there has been a shaking feeling that the service department has not been able to fix. I am in talks with hyundai for a buyback. I only have 2000 miles on it. I wish I did not trade in my 2023, never had a problem with it. I was in the service department once a week for almost 2 months with this 2026.

COMFORT. SAFETY. SAVING ALLOT ON GAS!

I got this car so I can build my credit on the day I got my apartment. Brand new Tucson Limited Hybrid, test drove it and I was so amazed by it. I can tell if you keep this car well maintained it’s going to run for a long time. Has all the features you need and more. Honestly I’m very happy and if you’re putting on an investment this is worth every penny. Especially the warranty! Oh my god! I love this car. Very comfortable. So much room. So smooth! Honestly if you have a great dealership near by you, just go for a test drive. But I’m going to tell you this right now, I never felt so safe. Car is roomie. So if I pull over I can take a nap in the parking lot. I can go on and on honestly lol.

Mostly very good

It's a great car. Handles very well. Gas mileage is as promised (37 mpg). A very smooth ride. Very quiet. My major compliant is the medial controls and the control lighting. The control status (i.e. AC is on, seat heater on, etc). The indicator light are very small and dim. Impossible to see in the daytime and difficult at night.

LOTS OF BELLS AND WHISTLES

Smooth ride with low interior noise. Nice acceleration, comfortable seating. Love the heated and air conditioned seats. There are so many dashboard visual/audible reminders that can be quite distracting while driving. Example, I don't need to be prompted to take a coffee break or keep my hands on the wheel.

Check engine light

I got 2 cars within a month. This review is for 1st car. Hyundai Tucson hybrid 2026. Got 3/19. 3/21 check engine light came on. Repaired as they said of it was evaporated leak from factory and all was well as they said. 2 days after, the check engine light was back on. I was traumatized and I lost confidence in this 1st car. The dealership was not helpful when I said I don’t have confidence in that car and I want to change the car. No one explained the process ahead and discovered got to pay more out of pocket. However, I got another car same model which is running fine

Subtle, surprising with some issues

At first glance the 2026 Tucson Hybrid looks similar many of its competitors. It is not a head turner and I am happy that it doesn’t. The magic happens when one gets behind the wheel. The Tucson Hybrid is surprisingly fun to drive while giving me an average of 38 miles per-gallon of gas in the process. However, Apple CarPlay link up is HORRIBLE!!! Sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesn’t! The other issue is the “consider taking a break” feature! On country roads this alarm sounds off every 5 minutes and is making me consider trading the car!!!

review after 4000 miles

Overall, we are very happy with the vehicle. There are a few areas that could be improved. Ride is a little harsh, and a little unstable over a rough surface (lateral steering correction is sometimes needed). Steering feedback is minimal, requiring constant attention when driving straight and not using the lane keep feature. The environmental controls on the lower center panel are small and divert the driver's attention more than is comfortable. Also, in reaching for the controls, sometimes the drive mode button is bumped and changed. It would be nice if the front door storage was better suited for coffee mugs and large water bottles. Setting the regenerative braking level each time the vehicle is started is annoying, and it would be good to have a preset level for startup.
