Great Car with Great Performance

I leased my Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and am already considering buying the vehicle at the end of the lease term. It performs well and I get an equivalent 44 MPG. I had a Ford Escape Hybrid a few years back and I was lucky to get 30 MPG. The features, including Blue Link, make it a joy to operate.

I love my new Hyundai Tucson! After losing my previous car in a car accident, having a car with so many built-in safety features gives me confidence to drive as I age. The technology is also fun to learn and saves me so much money on gas!

Great car

Last Tucson I had was a 2016 and it couldn’t make it up our driveway in winter. Traded that for a 2017 Santa Fe Sport which I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, that car was totaled by a deer collision so I purchased a 2022 Santa Fe. Lovely car, but wasn’t as nimble, although it did make it up my driveway in any kind of icy condition.This Tucson reminds me of my Santa Fe Sport, which was a fun, responsive car to drive.

Breaks squeaking

The breaks have been making screeching sounds. It has been twice to the shop but apparently as the vehicle moves it stops the noise. A new vehicle should run smoothly and make no noise. It is disappointing. The service department told me it has 12,000 miles guaranteed, but what will happen after that?

Good vehicle

Many good extras: Lane keeper, sleepy warning, driver-only comfort, other-car alerts, Bluelink, SOS button (I haven't had to use that yet), extending sun visor, and more. The main thing I don't like is that I have to stop the car with the brake to go from neutral to drive when exiting a car wash.

Gas Tank-Many other small things

First of all your customer service is horrible. My main issue is there is a manufacturing issue with the gas tank and both the dealership (who sold the car) and you (the manufacturer) refuse to supply a comparable car during the fix. The dealership offered a tiny car (Elantra or Kona) but that does not serve my needs beyond 1-2 days and we are on about 2 weeks of holding my car because they cannot figure out the fix. I am NEVER buying a Hyundai again and NEVER recommending anyone to purchase one or especially use the dealership in Edgewater, MD
