Does not hold up to expectations

The car still uses some gas when running on battery and the hybrid mode gets 30mbg and is advertised as 35mpg

More than satisfied

Purchased this plug in hybrid because it was way more comfortable than getting in and out of my Tesla Model S. My range anxiety went away and my daily use is now limited to battery only. The AC and other amenities are top notch and more comfortable than my 2016 Tesla. Charging overnight yields a >100 mpg in coastal Delaware. 70 mpg lifetime.

Great combination of gas and electric

Comfortable and solid ride with just the right amount of tech. Although not self driving, the driving assist helps out on long trips making them more bearable. Most of my commute is less than 30 miles, so I hardly ever use the gas engine. Gas to battery usage is seamless and unnoticeable.

It is a good car, and the hybrid feature is a plus. I prefer nobs to turn on the radio and an elevated screen. The deep storage compartment between the front seats is impractical. It just isn't a fun, exciting car to drive.

This is a great car if you are primarily using it for local, around town driving, but the drive experience drops once you are no longer driving off the battery.

23 tuscon PHEV

Overall quite happy with comfort and performance. A seel point was it being quieter than other brand's. Electric option is nice, but ideal range is 50-60 miles vs typical 31. Dislike button PDNR location. Cockpit cramps. Surround soundis poor.

Enjoying the Tucson

The Tucson Plug in is a great intro to a plug in hybrid. Overall we do like this car, but there is some room for improvements that would push it into a 5 star/10 rating.

Totally great for city driving . Plugging it in after every 40 miles is a pain, however . Not a vehicle to recommend for rural areas or backcountry.

2023 Tuscon PHEV

I love my car. I was set to purchase a Toyota RAV4 PHEV, but did not receive the attention or focus from the salesperson. I knew nothing about the Tucson or even the Hyundai brand until I began looking online for PHEV models. I loved the exterior of the car, especially the grill. Silly to say, but it was the Tucson's grill that swayed me from the Santa Fe. Also, the Tucson felt more comfortable in interior size - felt it fit me better (being more a petite person) when compared to the Santa Fe and the RAV4. It has great safety features. Love the sun roof.

A Comfortable Yet Practical Car.

Best of both worlds of gas and electric cars available in US in 2023. Need gas part in US due to longer distances driven between chargers but enjoy the quiet and response of the all electric first 30 miles available in this plugin model. This car is well made, comfortable like a luxury car, yet gas saving and good value for the cost. I would trade it, however, for an all-electric model with >400 mile range and a little more cargo storage when back seats folded down.

My first suv. Drive is secure when compared to previously owned small sedans(Volvo s60t5) When in sport mode turbo drives quite secure. A bit more tippy compared to small road hugger.
