Nice car but has some quirks

Nice care with many luxury features. The Apply CarPlay works automatically when you plug into the UBS port, however, I am unable to set it up for wireless (without UBS connection). The USB ports are the old style USB-A and does not include a USB-C. The seats do not always go their assigned position (1 or 2), especially when using the remote climate start feature. The Owner's Manual index is lacking many key references to locate a specific feature and after 3 months we are still searching to learn all of the features. The EV charge connection is easy and able to monitor remotely. EV range is good for local travel and the Hybrid mode works good when EV is depleted. Very large sunroof and shade, but the controls are touchy to stop roof or shade movements. No arm rests attached to the front seats, must rely on center console or door arm rest. Could use another cup holder for the driver on the left side next to door. Could also use a 120v AC outlet. Very loud and annoying backup alarm (wakes up the neighborhood). The ground clearance is good and the driver sits higher than most SUVs of similar size.

Wonderful car with just a few glitches

The plug-in hybrid feature is great. The reason this vehicle does not get a 5 star rating is that the press button automatic opening feature is maddeningly inconsistent. The press button locking feature functions MOST of the time. It took awhile to figure out to use the "shower" setting for the automatic windshield wiper function when rain is light. All of the curves and crevices, which look nice, make the car difficult to wash. The back window never gets completely clean after going through a car wash because of the "spoiler". The car drives well and is responsive. There is lots of back seat legroom.

We've only put 1000 miles on our car in the last 3 months.

Our only concern is the charging system, due it only being able to charge it on a level 2 charger not a fast charger. it take almost 2 1/2 hours to charge it to 100%. We had an Ionic 5 which only took us 35-40 minutes to fully charge. We didn't get a charging cord like with our Ionic 5. I think you should supply one with our car.

Not all itwas advertised

The plug in is great in city commutes where you can plug it in nightly..BUT...this vehicle is very poor on long highway trips the gas mileage is even close to the advertised 37mpg..l average 24-26 which is pretty poor for a 4 cylinder motor.

Solid build - great ride - nice features

If you are afraid to go fully electric, this is a wonderful first step. The PHEV allows you to drive in electric mode and experience what it would be like. This is a very good vehicle!

Not what I exy

Don’t pay extra for the plug-in feature. It’s not worth it. It costs over $4 to fully charge to 33 miles. It also gets around 30 miles per gallon of gas. Gas is less than $4 here. So the plug-in feature actually costs me more.

2024 Tuscon PHEV limited

I have about 27,000 miles and the car is 20 months old. The only repair I needed involved the cruise control switch which broke. The value of Bluelink is questionable as it never gets updated with past servicing. As a result the car keeps telling me I need servicing when I still have over 3000 miles till the next due date. Occasionally it also does not pick up the fact the car is charging.

Comfortable & Efficient

I'm very happy with my new 2024 Tuscon (bought in 2025). It's very comfortable for this 6' 2" guys with long legs. I'm really impressed with the mileage so far. This is my second Hyundai hybrid but my first Plug-In. Some of the interior features are a little wonky, which is why I can't give it a 5-star rating. But overall, I can recommend it.

Gas mileage

Car does not get good gas mileage. Even the plug in charge at full battery does not get anywhere near 33 miles as advertised. To charge battery up to 100% costs as much in electricity as a gallon of gas so no real benefit to the plug in feature.
