It's a fun car

It is fun to drive and gets extremely good gas mileage. It was a little stiff for the first 500 miles but it now is very comfortable. I wanted a car that was easy to get into and out-of, I'm 78 and that was very important to me. I purchased the SEL version which I think gave me the most features for the money.

Great First Vehicle Purchase

Insanely comfortable. Gurantees 33 mpg, but I've been able to get a lot more. Rarely have to fill up tank. Good for small road trips. If you're just looking to get around and not pay a lot for gas, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The venue is a great mid sized vehicle with a great value for the money. The style is sleek and smooth. The interior is soft with a modern day style and completely enjoyable to ride long distance in. The sound system has a great quality sound.

Great MPG so acceleration is not super fast (what did you expect)

Easy to drive, quiet, great MPG, nimble steering, reasonable ride, the transmission make the car sound effortless as it climbs hills. Steering Assist is not a feature I expected to like, but I do. Makes highway travel more relaxing.

Better than expected, perfectly matched design choices, at least adequate in all ways

Wanted a second car for 2-car driving married couple with one working senior, one retired. We value quality LED headlights (per IIHS), safety features, and comfort (including upright SUV-like). Secondarily, we also like attractive and just a touch of different/quirky. Found all plus more. This is a low-cost class. Any low-cost class vehicle requires some compromises. Hyundai made all of the same compromises that I would have made (rare), while keeping everything at least adequate. Our ratings are based on this class of cars, relative to competitors.

Mine is midnight bluesy!

I love the value, the comfort, the safety and the coverage of this vehicle! I researched and found this to be one of If not the only small SUV with a sunroof. My 100 lb dog and 3 adults fit in it nicely with our luggage to go on vacation

Great drive but lacks interior lighting

This car is one of the best I’ve purchased from Hyundai. It would get five stars from me if not for the lack of interior lights and leg room in the back seats. My job has me up before the sun or back home after it sets, I have to hunt around for the ignition blind because the only lights you get come on when the car turns on. It may cut down on money for the purchase, and wasn’t something I noticed until I needed it but the lack of it is noticeable and makes me feel unsafe sometimes. It’s my only major problem, love it otherwise and the legroom problem only crops up when I have visitors so it’s not a really big deal. Just work mentioning.

Impressive vehicle

First time leasing a Hyundai Venue. Even though I haven't driven it much, I feel once I get back on the road driving again it will probably be a great experience. My previous cars have been the Hyundai Elantra and they gave me many great years of driving and excellent on miles per gallon and I'm sure the same will be with the Venue.

My Venue

I am very pleased with my Venue. It's very comfortable with the heated seats. The interior is very nice and looks like quality material. The sound system pairs well with my bluetooth-based music apps and sounds great. The exterior paint is well done and looks excellent. And the wheels are nicely done and greatly add to the appearance of the Venue.

My New Venue 2021

I'm very happy that I purchase the Venue crossover, I love the color I picked, price and features in this car. My family and friends even love the new car I picked out, I also love that when that they filled the gas tank and the gas Gage is still near full after drive after over a week of drive.. great on gas.

AWESOME

It is comfortable and fun to drive, love it. I was looking for a cheaper car that i can afford with and my agent told me about this car. I drive it around and i was amused how comfortable the car . I love the design outside with my car also same thing with the interior everything is perfect,

Loving it!

This is my son’s first car and he is loving it. For us as parents, the most important thing is safety, and we feel this car has all the safety features and that gives us peace of mind. The look is great too! We are all very satisfied with this car and would definitely recommend it!

Review 2021 Venue

The venue has been very good to this point. Just hit a 1000 miles. Had bad experience with APP and dealer. When registering on APP, it brought the wrong vehicle. Tried contacting service at Dealer, to no avail. Left voicemail twice for an advisor, also tried their chat. Worthless. Will find another dealer.

Good styling/trim, good handling from low-power engine

The trim on the Denim is great. Looks sharp. Interior storage is inadequate for a car that looks like you'd take it camping. Tow/cargo capacity is low due to engine size. Need to add a foot or two in length. I had more storage in a sedan model (Sonata). Battery is small and the system issues a warning after seconds of using accessory mode. Fusses with starting after listening to music with engine off even for a short while. Engine doesn't look durable (cloth wrapped connectors?). Good and robust electronics package. LKA could use some tweaking and/or customizing... pulls to the right too much and too often. The small engine does perform well though. Good acceleration from stop, but hits power ceiling pretty fast. Handling is nimble and good. It's an "urban compact suv" which is another way of saying it has hipster outdoorsy styling but isn't a good car for the great outdoors...like a hipster that looks like a lumberjack but has a $300 haircut and designer jeans that look all rough and tumble... but aren't.

Buy this car but...

It is a great mini suv with great space for legs and head, its comfortable and easy lightweight to drive. Theres a lot of plastic in it so it can be scratched easy. It has the right amount of technology to where its not too advanced and you dont have to scroll thru too many screens etc. The denim edition is well made and looks modern. The station scrolling button sucks. It does not have an aux input.

Cutest Little Car

I wanted a Hyundai. Had two previous Hyundais. My 2012 was nice and small SUV. The 2017 was just that much wider and longer. I really don't have passengers anymore as kids are older. Looking for a smaller model and the venue was perfect. Loved the Galactic Gray. The roof racks really give it an SUV look. The salesman was Joe Branco. He was so nice and took time to go over things. No pressure. I called him after hours with questions and he got right back to me before I even bought it and then after I had purchased it. Really great guy!

Great safety features. Great styling. Poor radio and phone. No satellite radio. Good on highway. Great on gas mileage - getting about 42 mpg. Good climate control. Good seating and storage. Car came with first aid kit, emergency service kit, vip holders for rear, floor mats, floor covers.

Great value for the price. Fun to drive with all the up to date safety features and convenience features. Easy for passengers to enter and exit vehicle. Great vision on both sides of vehicle with limited blind spots. Easy to use cargo department with privacy cover.
