Reliable Economical Car

Bought this car as a first car for my teenage daughter, she also learned to drive in it. Car was very reliable, good MPG, and very comfortable for my daughter to go to school, work and get his golf gear in.

CVT/Entertainment Issues

Despite its wonderful turn radius and smooth handling otherwise, the car's CVT is terrible and jolts you, practically giving you whiplash. The entertainment system is glitchy at best as well. The screen constantly goes black and the Android Auto function rarely work as designed. The hood of the car isn't sloped, which is a terrible design flaw and makes it necessary to put the seat all the way up so you can see over both the steering wheel AND the hood. Calibration issues are also prevalent in the entertainment system. The sport mode is a joke due to the CVT issues. I had a lady hit me going about 22 mph and the damage made it evident that I'd never survive a wreck at any more than maybe 45 mph, it's made so flimsy. The gas mileage is wonderful, however. Overall, it's basically on par with a Chevy Sonic, only slightly larger and much more expensive.

Overall nice car

I bought my venue with 7 miles on it and originally used it as a rental car on the Turo platform. Guest loved the mileage and space in the trunk. The touchscreen was a nice feature with Apple CarPlay. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the ride quality. The cabin is noisy while driving on the highway and I can feel the gears while braking on a residential street.
