Nearly 100,000 and counting.....

Last year I got the new-car fever and went shopping. I drove Hyundai, Mazda, Honda, Toyota, Kia, and Nissan (on the special recommendation of my brother). It is exhausting, but important to look thoroughly when you are making an investment the size of a new house. I returned to Miller Hyundai and bought an extended service contract on my Elantra Touring instead of buying new! This car has been incredibly dependable and continues to serve me very well. My mileage has leveled off since retiring and thus, of course, the costs of maintenance; however, when I was adding 18K miles per year to the odometer, I was careful to observe manufacturer's recommendations for maintenance. I plan to just continue driving this car for another five or ten years. See value ratings below.......

Elantra touring

The Elantra touring is great. Other than regular oil service, tires and battery changes, the car is doing great. No unnecessary or emergency work on the car. My previous Nissan Sentra had to be towed to the dealer about 3 times because it did not start . And the touring is 8 years old and does not look nor drive like it is 8 yrs old. Even the paint looks ? great. I hope my next Hyundai will just as good.

The Worst Car I Ever Owned

I hated this car from day 1. It runs like a truck and the suspension is horrible. It does not hold an alignment. I have had to replace the low profile tires 5 times. The moon roof stopped working after 6 years. Sometimes the radio works and sometimes it doesn't. The car is 8 yrs old and has just under 53,000 miles.There is a reason why they discontinued this model. A lot of them.

Great car!

This car meets all my needs for hitting the road with family and pets! We have never had major issues, car is always ready to go to next destination. I travel to and from work reliably, and take it to trails on days off.

Love the Elantra Touring

I have had 3 Hyundai's, and this was my favorite of them all, comfortable, roomy, dependable in bad weather. I wish they still made this model, never got a lot of press. Just bought my 4th Hyundai, a Tucson, hope this will be another favorite....

Elantra ownership

As a owner of 2 Elantras I can say my husband and I are happy with this vehicle. Both cars are hatchbacks. Our 2013 is a sport and our 2010 is a touring which I prefer since it gives that extra room without going into an SUV - I hope this style will come back before we need to trade in the older car. But that might not be awhile since the maintenance has been done and it looks and runs great.

2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

Since we purchased our Elantra Touring we have made several long distance trips from New York City to Florida carrying all sorts of stuff from our son's household goods (moving him to NYC) to trips with lots of luggage. We especially like the ability to haul 8' long pieces of lumber while being able to completely close the back hatch. The vehicle has also done surprisingly well in snow. Our area had a 12"-18" snowfall one evening and we needed to get to an appointment the next morning. As we were leaving our street a neighbor with a 4 wheel drive vehicle was watching us go buy and had an expression like what are you thinking. This vehicle performed very well plowing through the deep snow and we were able to make the appointment without delay.

I love this car!

I love this car! My Electra Touring is fun to drive and has never let me down. I'm sorry that they have discontinued the Touring. Overall I've had little repair issues, mostly routine maintenance. Service is very good at letting me know in advance what my car might need "the next time" I bring it in.

Love my car!

I have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra touring that I love. it has great storage space in the back and gets decent gas mileage. Mechanically I've had no problems with it and I have over a hundred thousand miles on it. I like this car so much I will probably buy a new one when it no longer runs. Pryor to having the Elantra I had a Sonata that I loved as well and then gave to my daughter because it just kept running! I tell everyone I know who's looking for a car to take a look at Hyundais, I think they make great cars!

Best little wagon I ever had.

I love my little wagon. very reliable car. not even thinking of trading it in . My son will get this one when I go to get a new one. This is a great car and Gettel always gives great service. My other car is a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. Hyundai makes great cars

Dependable Vehicle

It's a very sharp and classy-looking car. Fun to drive. Lots of room to load things with back seats turned down. My car is 8 years old and looks practically like new in style and design. I love driving it. I especially like the roof rack.

Elantra Touring

I am more than pleased with my Elantra Touring. The size is perfect for my needs. It handles extremely well, is very spacious inside an has a larger storage capacity than most other SUVs and crossovers! I’ve had mine for going on nine years with no serious problems. True I only have 61,009 miles on it but I rate it 9 out of 10! Don’t know why the model was discontinued! Bring it back!

Hyundai Elantra Touring 2010

This car has been excellent since purchasing new in 2010. I have kept up with regular check up and care, especially with oil changes. I have not had any problems with the car to speak of. It is excellent on gas mileage. It has very good space inside when the seats are all down. It has been dependable and reliable.

My 2010 Elantra Turing is great

My car is eight years old and has not given me any problems. Regular service, and occasional light bulb replacement is all that I have had to do so far. The car is comfortable and spacious enough for family camping. I live in a rural area and don’t have a truck, so I often use my Elantra Turing to haul stuff. The car is nice enough for going out on the town and as a work horse to boot.

We love this car! Great space, pretty durable. We bought our elantra touring new and are nearing 100k miles with no engine issues to date. Functional design. Decent gas mileage. Interior has held up pretty well.

Love my Touring

I have been driving a 2000 Hyundai wagon and 2010 Hyundai Touring for a combination of 20 years. Just love the ride, cargo space, service, the cars dependability and the size of the cargo door opening. It is all perfect for what I do everyday. I have looked at the GT models because I anticipate purchasing a car in 2020 but it would not suit my needs in the cargo area nor third door opening space. The Tuscon is too big for me. Please bring the Touring back for 2020! Best car ever!! I have heard the same comments from other Touring owners.

Not happy at all with ride quality. This car looks nice, but is very very noisy to drive. Gas mileage is awful for a smaller car.
