Amazing local car stylish smooth fun to drive and very comfortable has huge trunk and it’s really smooth and quiet drive great for your everyday needs but there’s not enough charging stations and the battery is not long enough to rely on for long distances

Hyundai Ioniq 2 years later

This car has met and somewhat exceeded our expectations. This was our first Electric Vehicle and there were reservations and some concerns, but after 2 years, this EV is absolutely fantastic in the role that it is used. We leased this in December 2020 and gas prices were well below today and EVs weren't being pushed like today. Got an absolutely UNBELIEVABLE lease deal from Staten Island Hyundai and haven't had a single regret in the last two years. The new Ioniq looks stunning and I am hoping that the incentives and availability are more favorable by the end of 2023, because we will get another EV and we'd love it to be the 2023 Ioniq.

Oddly satisfying

Drove it and found that it just “fit” me. That sold it and with its 50 plus mpg even at daily 70 mph plus runs to and from work it’s a car worth having because it lets you go places and have a life without worrying about what gas cost to get to the point you want to be to enjoy your life.

Love this car

Such a great vehicle for app jobs! The amount of money I save because of the great mileage this vehicle provides. The trunk can also hold so much space when I need to store a lot of items in my car! I get so many compliments as well!

this car is a great drive, very fuel efficient in both city and highway driving. Also very comfortable, easy, agile, great for city driving, parking, and good quality tech (for safety and parking) along with apple car play.

I am really enjoying this vehicle. I enjoy the technology and love driving it!

I chose an HEV over ab PHEV because it is the right technology for the current existing infrastructure. It is absolutely great to drive! I have seen mpg figures as high as 89 mpg. Its overall average for the first 10,000 miles has been 55-56 mpg. What more could I ask?

Gorgeous, easy to drive, comfortable for passengers, huge hauling capacity, incredible MPG

I regularly get 60+ MPG, and never below 55 MPG when running stop-and-go errands. My Ioniq is really nice to drive, and has tons of features that both I and my passengers love, like heated, adjustable seats, multi-zone heating and cooling, and a terrific sound system.

Hyundai has the best maintenance progran!

We bought Hyundai Ioniq tp replace our old Honda civic and we were pleasantly surprised by the overall performance of the hybrid car. Very good mileage and saves us a lot of gas in the long run! Thanks!

Probably My Favorite Hyundai Vehicle

I've leased a few Hyundai cars since 2014 and now I am currently on my third lease. The Hyundai Ioniq is probably my favorite Hyundai vehicle I've had so far with the features like "BlueLink", and having a huge storage space trunk with the Hatchback design. It still looks sleek and doesn't look too much like a "mom" vehicle even with the hatchback trunk. Also I like that the Hybrid feature saves me more on gas especially commuting to work or when I have to run errands.

Great ride, smooth, quiet, & dependable. Great styling, no gas station visits. I primarily charge this vehicle at home in my garage. Very happy with my 3 year lease price & value for my money. This has been a very reliable vehicle.

A great electric car that does not look like it's electric

Really happy with this vehicle. I am a larger framed male and find it very comfortable for a compact car. Interior finish is well done. Exterior is nothing flashy, subtle which I like. Only complaint is the grille which looks a bit cheap in my opinion, the previous year looks better to me. Not going to gas stations is awesome, charge at home which is very convenient. One charge a week on average is all that is needed. Not my long distance vacation vehicle.

Reliable, useful, comfortable, economic

Efficient hybrid with useful electronic capability. Acceleration is sufficient for all CA needs. .Hybrid is especially useful for long distance business trips where concerns about recharging a purely electric vehicle would exist.

Great car with excellent mileage

didn't think I would like this car as much as I did. The ride was nice and smooth. Interior controls right where you want them, Apple Carplay is a big plus for me. Excellent mileage!! Just a well put together car.

Good choice for a reasonably priced EV

The Ioniq is my 4th EV. So far I like it quite a bit - it drives well and looks and feels more like a regular car than many other EVs. It has a decent list of features, including safety features, for the price. One key reason I purchased the Ioniq is that it is the most energy-efficient EV and so far it did not disappoint: it indeed uses the least electricity per mile of the 4 EVs I owned.

Great Vehicle

This is a base model with some really nice features. The lane assist is really nice. The Auto lights automatically dims when cars approach. This is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a 2020 hybrid. The only thing that gets me is the fact the hatchback does not pop open when you press the trunk button on the keys. Also it would be nice to have the auto start feature available on the BlueLink app. I would think in 2020 this would be standard. I hope they come out with this in the future as a software upgrade possibly? The only other thing (and I'm getting picky here...) the hubcaps are ugly. They look spacey I guess cause of the hybrid, but its not a good look in my opinion.

Really fine. This is my second IONIQ. I don’t like it as well as I did my first one. I have an annoying WHINING noise that I am being told there is noting they can do.

Vehicle is OK compared to my other IONIQ, but I get about 4 to 5 mpg less than my 2018 and the whining is very annoying. I am 71 years old. Even at that age, my IONIQ is comfortable and very easy to get in and out fairly easy. I traded an F250 and went from about 16. MOG to 60MOG with my 2018.

Enjoy the vehicle very much. Handles well and the gas mileage is great. The warranty is good and the free maintenance for 36,000 miles is a plus. The only negative is blind spots when driving on the highway.

Great value. Very nice car for the money. EV is the only way to go. We need better infrastructure to support EV charging. EV range could be better. Navigation should be built in. Don't like the bar that blocks view out rear window.

Ioniq Hybrid

The car is very well done! The front seat would make a tall person squirm to get in, I am short but I do hit my head at times getting in.The rider seat should be just like the electric drivers side not manual.The rider side window should go down on one push.The Hatchback should be able to open at a distance with the key fob.,,,not have to open by hand! The car has alot of nice features...just needs a few more!

Wanted more

We have the 2020 hyundai ionic ev in the limited trim level. It's a beautiful car and has lots of bells and whistles. However, at this trim level I expected more like a back wiper, heated AND COOlED seats, a heated steering wheel and a front and or 360 camera.
