AC issues, 3rd attempt
I find the summation that the vehicles AC is normal, to be amazing. This conclusion was based heavily on a 2nd vehicle displaying the same AC temp readings. So a test of 2 vehicles is the standard now ? Perhaps the 2nd vehicle has the same issue. As noted, there is a massive 20° temp change from front AC vents to 2nd row ceiling vents, under maximum cooling settings. The summation is that the 2nd/3rd row passengers will have to endure less than desirable temps, that will never improve during a typical day. Perhaps on a road trip? And mind you this is happening while the front row is experiencing settings that are too cold, in an effort to support the other rows. Cannot imagine Hyundai design engineering expecting this to be ok. ? My question is, what if the 2nd vehicle ( a true test, to get an average), what if the temp readings were different than mine, better than mine. What were the next items to be looked at on my car ? Objectively, if it wasn't my car, and I would wonder about the 20° temp disparity . The car is only 20 months old.
