Faulty vehicle.

Purchased the vehicle new, brought home then took back to dealership once part arrived to have tow hitch installed from them based on purchase agreement. Vehicle had a hard constant pull to the right, not a drift, a pull. Took vehicle back in and after assessment was told it was a faulty steering column. New column part was ordered and took significant time to arrive with no loaner vehicle was offered during the waiting period Same dealership replaced it with the new steering column and said issue was remedied. Vehicle steering wheel was then crooked and still had drift to the right. With every oil change I’ve had at the dealership (6) since purchasing the vehicle, I told them about the issue and they attempted to repair by alignment, recalibrating sensors etc. During most recent oil change I addressed the same issue of pulling to the right and uneven steering wheel. This time I was told the pulling was now due to uneven tire wear and tried to tell me I needed to purchase new tires and was responsible paying for alignment. We let them know the uneven tire wear was likely due to the initial faulty steering column. They agreed to do the alignment without charge and rotated one of the tires to a different location as a remedy. The vehicle is still pulling and is now pulling more so during acceleration and deceleration. Add ons such as sensors, steering assist etc have not worked properly due to the vehicle pull. When attempting to use lane centering and other convenience features (even on straight road with clear white lines) the steering wheel goes back and forth trying to align itself with the road like it’s fighting itself and need to be turned off as they have nearly pulled me into other vehicles multiple times. Based on this experience I cannot in good faith recommend this vehicle.

Front sensors will continue to beep after back out of garage. Auto start stop is annoying. You should just be able to turn it off without it coming back on after you turn the car off.

2025 Pallisade

We purchased our 2025 Pallisade a little over a year ago and our over all experience with the vehicle is subpar. The worst experience has been with customer service at the dealership level. The vehicle developed several issues that were warranty covered items and after 7 months of waiting and visiting several different dealerships, the vehicle was repaired. The communication from the service department was poor or almost non existent. I had to constantly call and wait for a return call every time and most of the time they didn't call back. Honestly, it felt as though my calls were being avoided and because of our recent experiences, we don't plan on purchasing another Hyundai.

Overall, one of the best cars I've driven in the last 50 years! Dependable, beautiful, comfortable (like sitting in my living room). I drive 12 hours (one way) to see family. The most comfortable drive ever.

The door locking electronics have been HORRIBLE! Often attemp to open a back door after parking, only to find it inexplicably locked. Programmed to unlock. Auto dimming headlights often dim on a dark road for no reason. Factory tires are almost wore out at 24,000 miles, which is despicable. Not what we expected from a $40,000 car. Also, the fob free door unlock works sporadically.

Good size/Strong engine

If I had two things to complain about, they would be NO power, retractable side-view mirrors which is always a pain going thru the car wash. Second thing is no power, tilt/telescoping steering wheel. My 2008 Hyundai Azera had BOTH of those as well as power, adjustable gas and break peddles. When you pay for top-of-the-line, Calligraphy model, you expect these amenities to be present.

Love the ride, there is lots of room, lots of safety features. Cons not best gas mileage, not of fan of the roof liner seem to leave a lot of finger prints But I definitely would buy again

Looks

The Palisades does look beautiful inside and out. In a short amount of time, you'll notice it dents very easily. You need a certain cord we bought to use CarPlay, which I don't think should be needed in a 2025. The AC and heating system work great in the front, but the middle row has no system. The third row seating would be great for small elementary students. This vechical does not have enough space to be considered a family vechical. It's a very tight squeeze for car seats and a stroller system. When you use the third row, you lose space to put things in the “trunk.” I do love all the safety alert features while driving. I also like the front and back I am very happy we only chose to lease the vehicle instead of purchasing it. Sadly, I would not pick this vehicle.
