Cartruck

Smaller, sporty and comfortable. It took some getting used to going from a Dodge Ram 1500 to this vehicle. I'm 70+ and not doing construction work on the side anymore, so I really didn't need a full truck bed. Bought the SantaCruz with the 2.5 turbo so I could pull my utility & boat trailers. No problems pulling and stopping a fully loaded trailer (1+ cord of firewood). Plenty of pickup and very agile. Good in the snow and rain. Overall, I happy with the vehicle, it serves my retirement needs, but I still miss my full sized PU.

A great vehicle to drive and safe to drive as well.

I am giving this review in part because I was recently involved in an accident in which my 2023 Santa Cruz was hit by a driver running a red light. Unfortunately, the 2023 Santa Cruz was totaled by my insurance. But I want to recognize how the 2023 Santa Cruz did its job protecting me from the accident even though it was totaled, it saved me without any injury as well as the driver that hit me was not hurt in the accident. I am here to tell anyone that will listen that God and this Santa Cruz kept me from any serious injury and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a safe and great vehicle to drive. After the accident I liked the Santa Cruz so much that I found a 2025 to replace the 2023 that was totaled and I am very happy with it.

I love my Santa Cruz

Drives with the comfort of a car but all the perks of a small truck. It’s the best vehicle for camping or tailgating with the built in cooler compartment and electric plug for the crock pot or blender in the bed.

How did I live without a truck?

I’m really enjoying my Santa Cruz. I like the fact that I can take five adult adults if needed, although certainly four is more comfortable, and that I still still have the truck. In fact, the truck is almost always full. It’s made being a gardener and home projects a lot easier, since I can carry more of what I need. And I think the car is very comfortable. I would buy it again.

Its a tight wrap of a ride.

Intelligent innovation, unique design and attractive style wrapped in one sleek package. Its quiet. Can barely hear the engine at idle or while driving from the cockpit. I like the performance of this turbo feature built into a six cylinder engine. More than enough giddy up to conquer the traffic challenges. The sunroof feature is a nice add on for the comfortable seated kickback and cruise.

This vehicle was purchased with under 10,000 miles as a used vehicle. Since owned by me it was in the shop 9 times. 2 times for rear bed cover and warranty replacement, and 7 times to resolve short in engine electronics.
