Love My Santa Cruz

1) I love everything about my Santa Cruz except that sometimes shifting can be a bit slow when trying to accelerate from a slower gear. It's fine when taking off from a stop, or once traveling at cruising speed. It usually occurs when in a lower gear and then trying to accelerate - ie: getting onto the on ramp and need to get up to speed with freeway traffic, or trying to switch gears to pass a slower vehicle while going slow. Once the vehicle kicks into gear it's good. 2) Seats are really firm/stiff. Would like cushier seating. 3) When AC is turned off there is still air blowing through the vents. Cannot just turn off airflow; some type of air continues to blow. 4) Lots of navigation - can be a bit confusing and overwhelming if you're a first time owner. 5) Auto steering wheel adjust would be nicer than the lever style. 6) Love the bed size and the extra compartments!

Problem child

At 15000 miles I had to have a re differential replaced it was in the shop for over 2 months waiting for parts. At 17500 the transmission started making noise and ended up being replaced another 2 months without my Santa Cruz. At 22000ish it was back in the shop for about a month for a sensor on the transmission, after a week of having it back it's doing the same thing. I love the style, the tech, the way it drives it's just not reliable.

The overall look & style is outstanding. Unfortunately, it's significantly underpowered, extremely noisy & has the fuel efficiency of the Abrams M1-A2 Tank.

Love it WITH INE ISSUE

At 26,000 miles I had to have the transmission replaced (with no cost to me) it is now at 28,000 miles and the transmission is again acting up just like it did last time.

Love this vehicle

This is the second hyundai vehicle I have owned and it probably won't be the last. The quality to cost ratio is outstanding. The fact that they offer a 10 year warranty shows they stand behind their product. So far I've had no issues with my vehicle. As I said earlier, if I buy another new car it will be a hyundai.
