Worst driving vehicle I’ve ever owned

The driving experience in this Santa Cruz is the worst I've ever experienced. The driver assist features are constantly trying to send you into on coming traffic or in the ditch. On top of that the fuel mileage is terrible for a vehicle of this size. My Ram with a V8 and 500hp got the same fuel mileage.

Love our Santa Cruz

The only thing that would make this vehicle better is fold down rear seat backs to allow access to the cargo area. Other than that this Santa Cruz is the absolute best vehicle leather we have ever owned.

Nice alternative to a full-sized pickup

I have enjoyed my Santa Cruz for 1 yr. It fits in my garage with my wife's car much better than my F-150. I can still haul things and it has a lot of nice safety features. It's a unique vehicle that fits a normal sized driver. It's not ideal for more than 2-3 people. I would have bought BEV if I had the option to get one.

Traded it in

Wasn’t happy with the DCT transmission and potential issues and then Hyundai announced no DCT for 2026. Was going to trade it in for a non DCT Santa Cruz but decided I missed having a truck. Traded it in on a new Tacoma with six foot bed.

A great truck to have if you need a truck for light carries.

The look of this vehicle is very inviting. Lines of its own. The interior is a very comforting fit and upscale. I purchased the turbo XRT model, and I absolutely love it. The only thing I would change would be to give it some more aggressive tires. Especially for the XRT.

Small but mighty.

A great vehicle all around especially for those who are shorter and smaller stature but want something with strength and agility. Exceptional gas mileage and the only vehicle that got me thru my snow covered driveway with zero issues. The push button AWD is a God send. The camera is ideal and the lane change feature is actually what sold me, initially. Many women are impressed with the sleek style and admire it. Men jst ask me questions about it as I am very honest--- its a great "womens" truck!

I don't need a full size truck, but often haul around a mtn bike, skis, golf clubs. The Santa Cruz is perfect for those and more.

Fantastic combination of a car and truck!

I researched the Santa Cruz for many months before the purchase. It has lived up to all this billing and I have loved the vehicle. It rides like a car that gives you the utility use of being a truck as well. It has excellent acceleration in the turbo and the technology that you get with the vehicle as well worth the price of range it comes in. I would purchase this car again!

Fun vehicle but glad for the warranty

The Santa Cruz is a blast to drive but craftsmanship seems poor. The second I drove off the lot it was vibrating on the highway, the brakes shuddered, and the drivers door often didn’t close all the way on the first try. Now a few months in, the touch screen is flickering. All this to say, but when I bring it to the dealer, all they tell me is they can’t recreate it but if it continues come back. Doesnt help that every Hyundai dealer is extremely backed up. They has my car for two days and didnt even have time check all my concerns.
