Excellent Vehicle

We have taken it on a few long trips and it has been very comfortable. The gas milage on the last trip (2000 Miles) was 33.5. Not bad for 75 MPH. During our trip son location, mileage was up to 43 MPG.

I have a little over 12000 miles and have had 0 problems so far. It's a comfortable fun to drive hybrid with plenty of power and great on economy

Problematic Vehicle

Transmission went out at 35,000. Dealership had my vehicle for months. 40,000 transmission oil pump went out. Out of a car another couple of months. On the way home from picking my car up at the dealership, my Panasonic sunroof literally explodes!! My car has now been in the shop from the first week of January to August! It has not been a good experience.

A Great Road Trip Vehicle

A comfortable ride especially on road trip. We recently did a road trip from the Fort Myers Florida area to Utah to visit national parks. We spent 21 days and it was a joy every mile during the trip.

Good when good and worse when bad

Car had a short causing engine and hybrid battery to disengage from transmission. Dealerships couldn’t find it to fix it. Dangerous to drive. Hyundai ultimately bought it back but it was a long and stressful process. Hybrid technology must change to win my confidence back.

Hyundai SantanFe Hybrid

We purchased this new for over 50k. The phone charger feature has never worked. The apparently “high end” original tires had to be replaced at 30K miles, and the seatbelt clip passenger side quit working at 45k miles and dings at random. There are cosmetic flaws we didn’t notice right away like the lining of the ceiling edge sticking out. There is an issue w a sound every time we brake up in the dash, which started at 20k miles. We do love the safety lane guide features, side mirror and camera safety functionality is awesome. Car is a smooth ride and very comfortable. Overall, a good car, but for what we paid, would have expected no flaws/not having immediate repair needs under 60k miles. We have serviced it impeccably on schedule.
