2015 Hyundai Tuscon
I own a 2015 Hyundia Tuscon which I love. In fact, I just this week I had a sun roof installed in it and am going this afternoon to pick it up. I am so excited. I did look at the 2016 Tuscon at the dealership and fell in love with it for a few reasons. And they did loan me a 2016 Tuscon to drive while my vehicle was getting the sunroof put in which has features that mine does not that I truly value and feel should be on ALL vehicles, no matter the vehicle you purchase. My Tuscon does not have a inside temperature gauge which I have had in my past 4 Hyundai's and my husband has in his 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. I feel that is a feature that should be in ALL vehicles so that the driver knows at all times the outside temperature so they can drive accordingly. My son was recently in the hospital dying of cancer and I was driving back and forth from Lincoln to Springfield (30 miles) at night, until the last 6 days of his life, which I stayed at the hospital. There were a couple of nights that it was very dense fog and close to freezing and I kept calling Time & Temp while driving to check the temperature to make sure it was not freezing. Also, another VERY important and safety feature which I feel should be on EVERY vehicle is the mirror with the little corner mirror in it (only it should be on BOTH mirrors). The 2016 Tuscon loaner I have has that mirror on the driver's side and allows the driver to see ALL upcoming vehicles in their blind spot. I have come very close to 3 accidents due to a vehicle being in my blind spot which could have been disasterous and would have been my fault. One of those though I would have needed that small corner mirror in the passenger side mirror. I also like the setup of the dashboard in the 2016 Tuscon better than mine. I like the feature of the cruise control that allows you to set it more easily when taking your speed down and also the fact that the speed you are driving is displayed at all times directly in front of you. I am inquiring about the 2 side mirrors (or even just the driver side mirror) with the smaller corner mirror to see if it is possible to get one put on my 2015 Tuscon and if there is also a way to put an outside temperature gauge in my Tuscon. I don't want to trade for a 2016 just to get these 2 features since I just spent the money to have the sun roof put in. Can you tell me if these 2 features are available somehow?
