Style and comfort
Stylish exterior and sleek interior with durable leather upholstery. Large, wide touch-screen infotainment system is mostly intuitive, only a bit clunky at times. Driver seat is highly customizable for comfort, including height, lumbar support, distance from wheel, recline, and added heat and cooling features. We appreciate the safety features and are happy to have them. We are a little annoyed when we see a car turning and we don't slow down because they're turning quickly and will be out of the way before our car approaches, and yet the vehicle break checks us and alerts us to a possible front end collision (not cool). The trunk space is great but you cannot close the trunk with the button inside the car that opens the trunk. You will need to use the button on the trunk door to close it. You can also close the trunk with the fob (I haven't tried to close the trunk with the fob while the car was on, I'll have to see if that works). Not all four doors open when you touch the driver door with the key in your hand. I wish there was a way to have this feature. It's a great car for my family of four with two kids. I do not think it's large enough for adults to comfortably sit in the back seat for more than a short ride. We chose the Tucson in the top trim level over a Sante Fe in a middle range trim level and we're so happy with our choice! There are still so many high tech features of the vehicle we have yet to learn. We enjoy the ride (although it is noisy at highway speeds inside the cabin). It has decent fuel economy and is very nimble and easy to maneuver. I am not a fan of the shifting buttons. I would prefer the traditional design. I have already been backing up out of my driveway, placed my car in Drive just to press down the accelerator and have the car still be in Reverse! There was a car behind me too! Luckily, I was quick enough to hit the break and them really pound the Drive button. I was very upset over this.
