I do like the looks but not as much the drive and build quality

I bought the Limited Plugin Hybrid new and I have had it for 3 months now. When I first bought it the next day I set on a 3000 miles journey from east cost to west coast so I got to spend a lot of time with it. The first thing that I noticed was that I had to do a lot of frequent gas stops, almost every 250 miles. Apparently later I found out that the gas tank only held 11 gallons. MPG on highway was the same as any other vehicle of this class. Now driving around the city it has been better. I am able to charge it at home, even though it takes forever, 2:30 hours for only 31 miles. Also keep in mind that with the provided charger it takes over 12 hours to charge your car and there is no spare tire, even though there is plenty of space that's not utilized under the trunk mat.

Exterior body and paint issues

The exterior is not holding up it’s been less than 1 year owning it. blistering in the paint, faded moldings that aren’t same material, scratches & chips easily, which there were a few when delivered

It’s a Good drive bright lights when it’s night time. Features are nice, interior and exterior. A cute sleek SUV. The gears slip though randomly . It’s quite annoying. It’s been 3 months with this vehicle

Nor satisfied at all

I bought this car brand new and I have brought it up for problems more than 4 times in one month. The car's audio has not worked properly from the day i brought the car home. A month later it still doesn't work. Just last week, I found out that the radio is shot, The part is on back order with no ETA. I have no phone, no audio at of of any kind,, No GPS tones, no lane changing tones, no tones for the sensors and no radio. I am also losing out on my free 3 months of Sirius radio because Sirius wont put on hold because it is a free trial. I pay almost $30 a month for Sirius radio when i had it in my other cars., I find it to be a safety issues as well. If I knew my ew car would have these issues, I would have kept my old 21 car.

For the price

Could have more power for $35k. The vehicle struggles to climb hill regardless of the mode selected, eco is so slow that it doesn’t even save gas mileage because you still have to accelerate a lot. A sel convenience package with premium option should have more power

Audio system is awful

I used valet when I had 250 miles on the car. Upon turning valet off I lost all sound from my audio system. This seems to happen a lot from what I’ve read online. Unacceptable for a brand new vehicle. My dealer will not give me a loaner and no matter when I take it in they say it’s gonna sit for a day or two until they can get to it. so I have to drop it off this morning get a rental car and wait a day or two until they get around to looking at my car.

Not blown away. Love the overall look and safety features. Find the handling a little wobbly. Interior materials (glossy panels, carpets) not of high quality. Gas tank smaller than I expected, lost over 100 miles/tank moving from my Sonata.

I expected more

I am disappointed in my choice of a new car. I have been driving Nissans for years. No wonder the the oil changes are included. They don't want to change your oil until 8000 although every time I turn on my car it tells me I am so many days past due for my service at 6380 miles. I am going on a trip in 2 weeks and wanted my oil changed- they refused. All my Nissans were changed and tires rotated at 6000 complinentary. And I still don't have a manual for my car.

No acceleration Uses a lot gas at acceleration . Leeks water after cleaning even after drying water streaks out of every orifice. Comfort just ok. For the price ...just standard I really expected more.

Needs some work

The tail light was cracked, I noticed this a week after purchase. Now one of the lights keeps falling out of place. It feels like attention to detail was not one of their priorities while this car was built.

Quality Materials/ Customer Service

I went to the dealership to test drive this vehicle. I ended up purchasing it. A year later I have to say I am not happy with the quality of the materials used to manufacture the cosmetic/ brakes components of this vehicle. The exterior trim is fading, the interior trim is easy to get permanently scratched up, the carpet mat is worn, the ignition button looks worn and is scratched up and the rubber trim on the door control panel is peeling off the rotors look rusted when the car sits for a day or two. Just a few things I can’t believe are happening in a 30,000.00 vehicle. Seems to me they did not care too much about the quality of these materials. I also purchased a protection plan for the interior and exterior trim, paint and seat coverings and I am having issues with that being honored. I do like the drive train warranty, complimentary oil changes, the way this car drives and looks but, Quality/Safe materials and customer service are HUGH in my book. I don’t think I will be returning to Hyundai.

Looks great, ride quality needs improvement

Having issues with ride quality at highway speeds. Vehicle looks great and has lots of cargo space. Disappointed that there is no wired option for Apple CarPlay for the non-navigation trim level. I have an SEL w/ premium package. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is wireless, but only Android Auto can be connected with wire.

An true nightmare

I can’t begin to say how many times I’ve left my car for service of the same issues involving my inconsistent audio behaviors and screen blackouts, lack of Siri consistent ability I ask for one simple command she does another ex. Turns radio on a lot for no reason. There to many similar issues in the screen area to list however I’ve taken many photos of it’s malfunctions and shown them to many at the dealership. These are not unique I’ve read online many of same complaints.

Ok but won’t repurchase

Styling is nice and the limited model had the extra features I wanted. Gas mileage is disappointing, has never been close to the advertised numbers, and the transmission started getting loud and jerky after two months, the back up beep is too loud

Average vehicle with low quality interior. Has lots of fluff - bells and whistles but more annoying as false hits. For instance it constantly tells me to use two hands on the wheel which I am. Car has less than 4,000 miles but noticed scratches under door handles and interior.

Overall Good, One Flaw

Great styling. Smooth ride and handling but low end torque is really poor. Trying to get service at local dealer was a hassle. Gas mileage is pretty good. All else is good but the low end torque would keep me from buying this again.
