Hyundai Tucson 2022

Great vehicle. Acceleration is a bit lagging, but an all-around great car. I would still recommend to family and friends. The newer design is what lured me in. Hyundai makes a very good vehicle, so I was confident that I was getting a vehicle that would last me for a very long time.

Amazing car, but there’s a caveat

This car is amazing! The hybrid version is the one we picked because it beats the gas version when it comes to performance due to higher horsepower. The styling of the exterior and interior was futuristic. The only caveat is that we notice a slight engine/road noise and vibration on higher speeds more than 70mph

Nice new upgrades

Nice new upgrades but some just don’t match the cars look. Some features that are new are. It necessarily the best for everyone but not happy that some can’t be permanently disabled. The look of the new body was very hard to get used to. I don’t find it appealing at all. The look doesn’t stop it from being a good suv.

Stylish, Comfortable and Perky

This is our first Hyundai and our first hybrid. Previous vehicles have all been Hondas, which we loved and both lasted well over 100,000 miles! But we test drove the Tucson and liked just about everything about it! The Pros- really classy styling inside and out, all kinds of standard safety features, a turbo charged engine that will put you into the back of your seat when accelerating and yet great mileage. The Con- no spare tire, black plastic interior my not hold up well to usage and a really loud back up warning beep!

Excellent car... with room for improvement

The Tucson Hybrid is a phenomenal vehicle with sleek style and tech worthy of a more expensive car. Very responsive handling due to the extra horsepower from the hybrid battery, and incredible safety features that provide a great deal of futureproofing for the lifecycle of the car. However, as the first Tucson Hybrid model it does need a year or two of improvements that should be doable with minor recalls to fine-tune the vehicle's few issues.

Love car and all its features. Only complaint: I personally do not understand the big deal with a push button start. If I have to have the key in my possession, to me it's just as convenient to insert it in the ignition. No worrying that I have it in my pocket, etc. Also auto hold feature should only work is driver turns it on!

Good

Overall we like the automobile. Good looks, comfortable and nice to drive. Visibility out the rear windows when driving is difficult. Very difficult to operate the menu/computer system. When accelerating, the transmission is not smooth. Maybe over time our opinions will change in regards to the computer operations.

2022 Hyundai Tucson

I love this vehicle. Few things are a bit quirky. I bought the 2.5l Limited, not a hybrid. I kind of wish I bought the hybrid for the turbo. With my version, you have to put the gas pedal to the floor to pick up speed when entering the highway. Feels sluggish at times so I usually have to put it in Sport mode just to pick up speed. I hear a strange sound in the front end at any speed. My partner has one and hears it as well. It might be the way the front grill is designed. Sometimes sounds like the driver's front brake is rubbing. But I can't believe that would be it as my partner as the same vehicle with the same sound. So it must be wind. Other than that, we both love Tucson. We wish the North American version were as well equipped as other countries. Like power folding mirrors, video recording, digital controls for the rear passengers, rear sun-screens in the doors, 3-way folding rear seats.

This is my second Tucson. I have been very happy with the Tucson. It handles great and is just the right size, I enjoy driving it and so does my family. To date i have not had any problem with my Tucson. I would definitely recommend the Tucson to anyone.

Good MPG in an odd way

This vehicle will likely be in high demand. On-board battery does not require external charging or special attention. It works seamlessly with the gas engine. Can tell which is powering the vehicle unless I look at the EV icon. MPG on hwy is 30-32, local 35-45. Put 3,000 miles on in the first month with 2,400 interstate 70-80 MPH. Average MPG is 31.7. I certainly goes up when driving the up and down roads locally. Comfortable, handles well, assisted driving accessories perform remarkably well.

My new Tuscon

I’ve owned two other Hyundai’s. Loved the gas mileage and the warranty on my Elantra. Wanted larger car with more road clearance so got the Tucson. Lacks the gas mileage and exceleration. But I do love the style and look of it. The room and features are pretty good for the money as well.

Cool ride

I love their design of the new 2022 Hyundai Tucson. My favorite parts are the panoramic sunroof, the interior, and the led headlights & brake lights. It’s is everything I wanted minus the peanut butter interior, but I’ll sacrifice for the cool look and design I have currently.

Rivals my Audi

This is an overall excellent vehicle. The ride is comfortable, the tech is next-level and the features offer a ton of value for the money. My ONLY complaints that keep this from being 5 stars is that there is no option for “manual” cruise control. The smart cruise sets you too far back on the closest setting and when getting cut off the car brakes hard to slow down. The other is that the piano black interior is a dust magnet.

Overall satisfactory. Seats need a little work. Drive several cars as rentals for work and the seats don’t rate as high as some other brands do. The bottom part of the seat needs to have more firmness and be comfortable to ride in for longer trips.

Nice upgrade but too much technology

Overall Hyundai tried hard to redesign the Tucson. I feel that went too far. The style is a love it or hate it. But more importantly they did a poor job with the technology. Everything is touch screen from radio volume to climate control. Nice idea but it takes multiple attempts to get some commands to work. This requires taking the eyes off the road. There are many, many warning sounds and some cannot be silenced. The eliminated the sunglass holder in the overhead. Poor design choice once again. The power in acceptable but just as with the older edition the shifting is rough and frequent.

You could replace the rolling volume control and tuning control on each side of the screen with knobs that you can turn for volume and tuning. You could make seats softer and more comfortable.Your service dept. Needs better more experienced people working in it.

Good vehicle

Great vehicle and at a great price loaded with many safety features that others don’t give you for a base price. It’s too soon to judge on reliability but so far at 2 months and over 1000 miles all is good. Only issue I’ve got and had since new is a rattle above the glovebox.
