Clock randomly changes time. Cannot be repaired

Clock cannot be repaired. Randomly changes time. I had the vehicle at the dealer three times within first month of ownership. Was finally told it could not be repaired. When I opened a ticket with Hyundai, the rep said the vehicle would be repaired and that an engineer would go to the dealership to make the repair. She then called the dealer and was informed that they were told to close the ticket that it was too far to test another vehicle even though I made three trips for repair that never occurred. Never purchase again.

Total Nightmare

Had this brand new tucson less than 3 months and it’s been left at dealership for repair 3 times. They have been unable to fix the problem and say that nothing shows up on diagnostic test. Car doesn’t start or quickly stalls the first time I push the start button. They offered a trade for much less than purchase price.

What is the experience I’ve ever had buying a car

The car is good but the dealership and some of the people who work at bowie dealership are the wurst. And I will never go back and Purchase another car from Hyundai again. Everyone that ask about this car I let them know.

Terrible gas mileage on the hybrid and poor safety and entertainment features.

This HYBRID only manages 26 MPG after 3,500 miles. So far short of what was advertised. The blind spot system misses cars and the infotainment system is tough to use. It looks nice and you can see where Hyundai tried to make a quality car but everything falls short of a satisfactory experience. This is so far behind Jeep, Mazda, Tesla. Stay far away from this brand and car.

Cheap plastic cheap material very cheap interior seats have no cushions very bad seat cloth also is very very dirt attractive hard to clean carpet is cheap also i wont buy it if i have a choice now please change the quality

Great Outside. Inside Nightmare.

I love the way this vehicle looks. It's very dependable. It has a lot of road noise. The seat is not very comfortable. The salesman were wonderful. The technology is not for me. Sorry to say I'd rather have my cd system than this confusing mess of buttons. I don't understand them and they upset me. I thought I could learn it but I just can't.

I will never buy anything from Hyundai again. talking to Hyundai is like talking to a wall I paid triple the value of the car.

Hyundai does not honor their Warranty

I purchased a new 2023 Hyundai Tucson SEL from Clay Cooley Hyundai in Mesquite. Stay away from the aftermarket ELO system they automatically install as it voids your warranty on anything it messes up. Drained my battery twice overnight. Took it to a Hyundai dealership closer to my house and they charged me $227 labor to check what was draining my battery. I took their receipt back to Clay Cooley where I purchased the vehicle and they tried to tell me it wasn't causing any problem. I was ASE Certified and I know how to do a Parasitic Drain Test, and it was killing my battery as the first dealership told me and unhooked it but charged me the labor. I guess the customer is just out of luck since the ELO system voids the warranty on anything that is causes a problem with. Stay away from Clay Cooley Dealerships!! and Hyundai.

Many problems

Vehicle tried pulling us into the ditch and had to be towed to the dealership after having it a couple of months. The sound system just quits and can’t reactivate without disconnecting the battery. Services numerous times and the problem still exists. Bot the extended warranty even for this 2023 model and they still can’t seem to fix the issues. Online it states that many people are having the same issues

Not what I thought it would be.

The vehicle is not what I expected and the gear shift melted when it was so hot. I took it to the dealer and they stated they need to order a new one but it's been a month still haven't hear anything back from the dealer.

BIG PROBLEM WITH ROAD NOISE

I have been to the dealership several times to resolve the noise issue with no results. If it does not get resolved I will not buy another Hyundai. I buy a new vehicle every two years. I have been with Honda for six cars and decided to go with Hyundai this time, and so far I regret it. I hope someone will resolve this as I am very dissatisfied with the road noise. Greg Wald

Bad

It was fun driving the vehicle at first but after 2 months the vehicle performance was very bad. i couldn't drive the vehicle for long time and the performance is not worth. All the accessories are of cheap quality and can get the issues very fast

Dealership lied, deceived, misrepresented the purchase. Apple car play does not always work right. Still don’t understand some functions of car. Dealership will not help. Turn signals brighter than headlights.

I love Hyundai vehicles and I have owned 9 of them in the last 16 years. All of them have been great except this last Tucson. It would be a great vehilce if it didn't have so many small issues and a dashboard cover problem and a serious engine/transmission shifting and reving problem.

This car's appearance is great, but the day to day performance is very lacking. The car does not perform as you would expect and there are so many small issues that the car is not pleasant or fun to drive. I am constantly on guard regarding whether it will shift properly or get across the street without getting hit by another car. There never seems to be a comfort "place" to drive the car. Service with Jim Click has really been questionable because it was taking 2 months up to get an appointment, so I just learned to live with the issues. I had to take my car to Phoenix to get the warp rotors replaced. I believe there is a serious issue with the rotors for them to warp so quickly. Am I going to have to replace the rotors every 7-8000 miles? However, I must applaud the response of Mr. Prince the service manager. He does a very good job under the circumstances he has to work with. Hyundai didn't want to replace my peeling/flaking dash board.The dealership does not seem to be a "happy place to work." Thus, there is no happy feeling about your new car. I have definitely feel this Tucson is a Lemon.

Not happy about being told I had 3 year complimentary maintenance when I do not.

While I am happy with my vehicle, I do not appreciate being deceived by telling me that I have 3 year complimentary maintenance when I actually do not. I will never recommend nor buy another Hyundai again for that reason.

Hybrid isn't worth the issues

My service tech told me the majority of the vehicles coming into their shop are new hybrids. Wish my sales guy had mentioned this. 🙄 Not worth the price. Too many issues for a brand new vehicle. I won't buy hyndai again.

Warranty is worthless!!!!!!

Don't honor their warranty!!! Can't schedule service without a two week delay! Service Dept. have untrained personnel and do not check their work and facilities that are very outdated! They have a long way to go!!!!
