Mine wasn't assembled properly.

Before I could make my first payment I had to take my Tucson to the dealer as my AWD warning light came on. With less than 1,000 miles on the car, the AWD control module needs replaced. As the dealer started to make the repair they found that the sun roof drains weren't connected during assembly which allowed water to invade the car causing water damage to several trim pieces and also short out the AWD control module. Luckily everything is covered under warranty, but I'd much rather have a car that was built properly. I only have 1,000 miles driven so far, but I don't have much confidence going forward. With that being said, customer service has been great as I get my car repaired. So far Hyundai is making it right and have been good to work with, but it's just disappointing to have issues with a brand new car.

Not happy with car

Totally bad experience. Always afraid something else is going to happen. Wish I had just kept my old car. I have been upset almost since I brought the car. I shouldn’t have to take the car in this many times.

Speakers stop working

Speakers have stopped working twice within less of a month of ownership. It is very disappointing, I reached out to the dealership, and I had to take it in for a checkup but then the issue happened again.

Nothing exceptional, and feels unsafe to drive

Driver seat rolls shoulders forward, headrest is awful. Maybe it fits a taller person better, but I’m not that short. Lane assist and cruise control are abrupt; lane assist is often wrong. Car shuts off when stopped, turns on and lunges. Poor quality material/plastic means it is easily marred. Regret the purchase all around. Visibility is poor, and because the interior is smaller than the exterior, it is hard to gauge size when driving/parking. This is made worse by poorly shaped passenger/rear windows which are hard to see out of. Car lock and unlock sound the same, and buttons are next to each other, so I’m always second guessing if it’s locked. Can’t check because if you walk up with the key the door opens.

Could be my last purchase of Hyundai vehicle.

Having functional audio system is a major component. The Audio system of my brand new 2023 Tucson limited failed within the first 3 months of ownership. Very disappointed! To make matters worse, a service appointment is not available for 2 months.

Electronics are a problem

The reliability of the connection with Apple CarPlay is inconsistent. Wireless charging doesn’t work correctly. Safety system (lane keep, emergency braking) are nice but very inconsistent and cause hazards as much as they help.

Hybrid not worth it

I love the look of the car and it is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the gas mileage is not good and way less than what is advertised. I have a hybrid, which advertises 38mpg and I am currently getting around 23 mpg- which is poor even for a regular, non-hybrid vehicle. I am very displeased in that regard.

Should not have bought

This vehicle is a disappointment after owning a 2008 Santa Fe. Controls are difficult to understand. Owners manual is worthless. The steering wheel jerks if you forget to signal a lane change or turn. Acceleration is poor to moderate. Info display is confusing to operate.

Not as great as I thought it would be

Be sure to test drive before buying and probably only get highway and model but this car based off the looks is great but not what I expected to drive and use of features. Wish I bought a different car.

Lighting, stowage, black trim, quality of carpet and mats

I’m disappointed in my Tucson after owning a 2014 SantaFe. Heating system doesn’t heat up quickly nor does the auto setting work like my old one. The carpets and mats are extremely cheap and thin and don’t stay in place, there’s no stowage compartments in the rear underneath like my SantaFe had. The black exterior trim is already faded

No confidence in vehicle

Vehicle lost power on freeway and had it towed to dealership. Car only had 724 miles. Car was left Friday morning, when I called on status, was told there were other cars before me so I guess my new car had no priority. Was finally called on Wednesday afternoon to pick up car. I had to ask what was wrong and was told it was a fuel injector. The service person told me it’s not common but it does happen to new cars.

Gas/Fuel

Very stylish vehicle. The mileage per gallon suck. Hyundai lied. This vehicle sucks up so much gas!! I’m talking about straight highway miles. I’m warning you! Don’t let the exterior fool you. Other than that it’s ok.

Great looking vehicle but MPG not as advertised

Great looking vehicle but i purchased the vehicle based on the sticker's listed mpg of 36 -38. My average mpg is 28 - 29. Very disappointing. And why would ANY car dealership sell a vehicle without floor mats. My last vehicle was a Hyundai Santa Fe and was an outstanding product.

Take to much gas, and not all the features I wanted.

I was lied to about the vehicle. I was told the truck could get wifi, and when i could not get it in the truck then im told these trucks are not wifi capable. That is one of my reason for getting the truck. The vehicle has hesitated to start once sine i had it, and it also hesitated to start for me when I was at the dealership should have left it alone then.

first Hyundai an issue so soon makes me nervous

so purchase/leased Saturday, 29 April, Tuesday morning 2 May check engine light came on. said some thing got damaged??? the service loaner is the same type as my vehicle seems nice am hoping they get it fixed and after that is magical rainbows and unicorns . at this point my first Hyundai has been a huge disappointment , and causes lots of explanations when people ask why I have a service loaner... My spouse was in market for a new vehicle, and she is now no longer interested at all in Hyundai.

Not satisfied with MPG of hybrid.

Poor MPG for Hybrid. EPA estimate is 36/37 but only get a little over 31 even while driving extremely conservatively. I've driven it for 2k miles already and I hope the MPG improves. The EV motor does not turn on in an efficient manner. The calibration seems to be off.

WOULD NEVER BUY AGAIN!

VERY CHEAPLY MADE! When looking at the car it looks nice, when you test drive the car it’s too brief and if you don’t sit for a period of time and learn the car you’ll be very disappointed. A lot of flaws for a new car.

All sound quit working

I bought the car in November. First the salesman was deceptive.... so I feel like I keep having something wrong with this car. Now no sound of any kind. It will be over 3 weeks before the dealer can see the car. Very very frustrating!!! So it's been 5 days since all sound has been lost and today my seet just randomly lowered itself. And the time changed and the radio changed station. Again radio is on but no sound. Definitely won't ever buy a Hyundai again.

Poor quality loud car

The car is super loud, keyless entry is poor signaling even when the key is on hand it doesn't sense most of the time. Rear Doors doesn't close properly no alarm system doesn't work. The vibration under my left foot while driving is super annoying.

Not worth the money

The headlights on the vehicle are too dim. Vehicles purchased in daylight and no way to tell how dim they were. The safety features are delayed and sometimes won’t even warn you. Definitely not with the price!!
