2006 Jeep Liberty CRD

We bought the Jeep CRD because of the diesel engine and we have not been disappointed. 29 - 31 mpg on the Highway and 24 - 25 in town. We Love it, very few repairs in the 13 yrs of ownership. We are above 190,000 miles and expect at least another 100,000 before we have to replace it.

Jeep Liberty

Decent vechicle- no customer or manufacture support for Jeep owners once the warranty has expired. Would not recommend ever buying any Jeep products ——ever. Grateful to have found great independent mechanic.

Love this car!

This is my daughter's car, but it's a great first car. It's well made and sturdy. It hugs the road. I love it for my daughter and so does she. She loves the color and how it performs. It is a great car!

Defective window motors

Both of my rear windows, window regulators have stopped working. This seems to be a recall problem but they refused to repair them so my windows are permanently closed.

Love my Liberty

She's a Jeep. At 124,000 miles she takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I will be in deep mourning the day I have to let her go.

crappy modle

Had more than $5,000 worth of repairs in the first 4 years!!!! I know why they don't make this anymore!

Could Have Been Better Made

Engine and drive train are doing well. Power window regulators are poor quality, we have re placed seven since purchasing the Liberty in 2006. We have 126,000 miles on the Liberty and have no plans to replace it at present time.

Jeep Liberty CRD

Bought this vehicle new in 06', best all around vehicle, 4X4, we have 158,000 miles on her and expect at least another 150,000 or more before we will need a new one. Diesel power is a little different but keep the filters and oil changed as manufacturers recommendation and it will take care of you. Vehicle is very solid and we get 28 - 30 MPG on the Hwy.

Love our Jeep

We love our jeep liberty, it makes us feel safe and secure. We couldn't ask for a smoother more comfortable ride plus it's capability of carrying large items.

Needs improvement

I have had to replace all of the regulators for all my windows. That should not happen. The A/C units are terrible. I have 3 jeeps and have had to replace the units on all of them and still have to take it in every year for service. Not happy with them ! Otherwise I like the Jeeps otherwise I would not be on my 3rd one. Great for Wisconsin winters !

Pros and cons for my Jeep.

I like the way my Jeep hugs the road. The seats are not super comfortable. I wish it was just a few inches longer for naps! On a long trip I get decent mileage but it is not good on gas mileage in local travel, especially in winter.

Jeep Liberty CRD

I have 152,000 miles on this little Diesel, I can expect another 150,000 or so, yes some parts wear out and need attention but show me one that does not. My wife calls it hers because she says she fits in it just right.

Baby Jeep Jr.

I love Jeep! This is our second. We had 98 grand Cherokee. Lasted 12 yrs. Now we have 2006 liberty. Would definately buy another jeep. Reliable. Low maintenance.
