Faulty Computer System

I am a loyal, twice owned, Jeep customer but Jeep must recall this specific model to make sure their customer's car doesn't catch on fire!! I did not find this out until I experienced the problem and had to research Jeep's response to prior complaints on this issue, which were extensive. Jeep must recall this model to fix this problem, which they know exists. Once they do this for my vehicle, and all 2012 Jeep Liberty vehicles, I will once again be happy with the Jeep brand.

I love my vehicle.

But it is a piece of crap. I wish it wasn't, but it is. But I still love it. I'm probably just masochistic. The 4wd works as expected. It's very good at not throwing engine codes when there is an issue. If you love puzzles, you'll love this vehicle.

2012 Jeep Liberty is a P.O.S

Almost everything that could fall apart or break happened right after the warranty was up.Heater blower motor,radio stopped working @,40000 miles, interior trim rotted out at about 50000 miles. Seat are cheaply made

As long as I don't have to go back to Armory Garage all is good with the vehicle and overall happy with it.

stiff gas pedal and bad gas mileage otherwise up to the tasks put to it.

Jeep Lib. Review

I’ve had so many problems with this vehicle. Rust spots before it was 5 years old. 4 wheel drive problems since I bought it used with 50,000 miles. I keep having to have the brakes and router replaced every year or so which I’ve never had with any other vehicle I’ve owned. The heat/air conditioning vents stopped working on the driver side by the time the Jeep was 5 yrs old and the dashboard has electric problems on and off regularly.

Don’t get the rolling roof

The reason for 3 stars is Bec I like the car but just Bec I have the one with the rolling roof and that’s a piece of crap but the car overall is a great car just get a reg hard top roof that’s all again stay away from the rolling roof plsssss u will regret it Bec it breaks easy and they don’t have no part available so will have a leaky very noisy broken roof with no help from the dealer so again stay away.

The Jeep That Got Away

Like all vehicles, this one is not without its faults. It is a great on/off road family vehicle you can drive with style while brandishing the Jeep name. The EVAP system needs a major overhaul. Too many faults here. The wiring has corroded after only eight years of on-road driving.

2012 liberty

I love my jeep. The few things I think it lacks is storage space and gas mileage.It has good seating area though.I love the looks and the 4 wheel drive.

Love it

This car is reliable and handles the road well. It’s comfortable too. I love the way it looks. Heated seats and remote start are great for the winter. The seats don’t go on other remote start. It could use more storage space.

Travel Worthy

Although there are a few bugs to work out, I love my liberty. Handles great! Sporatic start-up issue that hasn't been figured out yet and AC and heater defaulted to defrost setting. 4 wheel drive not kicking in. Was an Inexpensive fix.

Squirrelly but indispensable

If you don’t mind poor gas mileage, design flaws, windshield wipers being activated by the turn signals, lack of service support during and after the warranty expires and heated seat function breaking down, this is still a decent workhorse vehicle. It carried 1,100 lbs of stone last week without complaint and when cleaned up, serves equally well for comfortable passenger transport. The 4 wheel drive option is priceless in winter.

This is my second Liberty. The first was a 2004, fire cracker red. I totaled her February 2012 and missed having a Jeep. An opportunity to buy my 2012 came up and I got a great deal and love my 2012!

Top notch!,my

My Jeep will get me up and over anything. Snow or mud has never stopped it. I'd buy. Another in a heartbeat. Especially like the interior configuration. Only 2 things are less than great:. Backup lights and blind spot from driver's seat.

Good reliable car

The car runs great and is dependable and reliable. It looks great. I added running boards to dress it up and for ease of entering. Could get better gas mileage and smoother ride. But I feel safe in it that it was get me where I need to go.

Vehicle it’s pretty good except that came with the compartment at the dash broke I thought that they replace it, but still the same . Generally it’s a strong vehicle wish I like to drive specially in country sites

Solid 4x4

If you're looking for a solid and reliable 4x4 vehicle without a lot of bells and whistles this is it. Also makes a great choice to flat tow behind a motor home. Just hook it up, put the transfer case in neutral and drive off. No special mods necessary.

Nice, heavy vehicle.

This jeep is a dramatic improvement over the 2006 Jeep that I had been driving. It feels like a quality built vehicle. The Jeep handles well and is very responsive. It is a bare bones version with no sun roof, power heated seats, or any other vehicle option that would require my attention sometime down the road. Very glad I bought it.

Great ride.. crappy heating system!

Every year the heat has issues. After talking to other jeep owners of same model… it appears to be a common issue. Blows cold air and have to switch hoses to reverse flow. Must be a blend door or fan deal. Someone should figure this crap out!
