2019 Nissan Altima Platinum AWD Kolchak
Kolchak very nice car for money. Ride was rougher with original Hankook tires. General Altimax Rt43 have much better ride in my opinion. Hakooks were original had until 28 almost 29,000 miles. I had to replace due to bulge in tire. I hope the Generals are as good in the snow. There is a rolling noise like something rubbing no idea what it is. seepage of antifreeze on lower hose. Blind spot warning has delay by the time warning light no buzzer turn on car is in blind spot. Delay in shifting at times especially cold weather under 40. MPG is about 3-4 MPG better than previous car and more room than 2005 Subaru Legacy Outback. I'm 5'8" 389 lbs. Kolchak is more comfortable not quite as cramped as my Subie was. One thing does disappoint no heated windshield, wipers. Cameras work great. Weird vibration more noticeable between 35-45 MPH then clears up. Foam coming out of windshield. Leather seems to be doing OK. If car hold up and Nissan builds an electric version 3" wider I will probably buy finances permitting. Nissan need more color choices. Remote start won't have heating or AC blowing when you get in car until you actually start car.
