Outstanding car

Almost everything is perfect. I’d like the interior door lock button to be illuminated so it’s eadier to identify in the dark. Performance and handling are exactly what I was looking for. Navigation system option is great

Ultimate Practical Car

The Outback 2.5 Premium is exactly what you'd expect -- easy to drive, safe [AWD, EyeSight safety aids, good hands-free phone, good visibility all around], comfortable, and loads of flexible space. It also gets good mileage -- 27 city/35 highway -- on regular fuel, even with a full load. The only downside is that it is a bit slow by today's car standards -- but not bad compared to most 4 cylinder compact crossovers. For more power, a 3.6 liter flat-six is available, but the mileage isn't as good.

I don't buy anything else

I am in Oregon, coming from the East Coast. Have driven in a variety of weather conditions. The Outback, with all season tires, can handle anything I have encountered, including some snow depth. I am most influenced by the very high vehicle reliability. If you religiously change oil and attend to a couple of the higher mileage things, it will give you a good 300,000 miles without excessive expense or upkeep. Ride on long trips is comfortable. I started buying Subaru over 30 years ago and have never been disappointed. I won't change.

Love it!!!

We drove our 2017 Subaru Outback from Syracuse, New York to Beverly, Kentucky. The seats were comfortable all the way there and back, and the gas mileage was better than we expected. Love the lumbar support.

Love this car

3.6R engine has all the power you need and more with good mileage. Traction on ice and snow is excellent with winter tires. Huge cargo capacity. EyeSight Adaptive Cruise Control works very well.
