Safe and Gorgeous

We love our beautiful Crimson Pearl Outback. It’s super comfortable and the safety features like Eyesight and Lane Control make it practically self-driving! The only issue is that my husband keeps taking my new car so we may have to buy another one!!

Have had a 2019 Outback for exactly a year. Love love love the vehicle. My wife and I usually take a long time to decide on which new vehicle we purchase. We test drove a Subaru Outback and the next day we purchased ours. Have never regretted our decision.

New Generation (2019 from 2011) Outback

I own a 2011 Subaru Outback and it is a very reliable vehicle and is a pleasure to drive. I've owned larger 4x4 pickups but the low center of gravity on the Outback gives it superior stability and excellent response over most pickups and SUVs with higher centers of gravity. Plus, I'm able to load my sea kayak on the roof racks without assistance and with higher vehicles, I would need help loading the kayak. The 2011 recently went to my teenage daughter and I now drive a 2019 Outback. All of the superior handling and excellent response I've come to recognize from the Outback is still there and the vehicle is a great pleasure to drive. There're lots of new bells and whistles, including eyesight. The only caution I have to offer about eyesight is its tendency to correct when the vehicle approaches the fog lines or the center line of the pavement. When the pavement is wet or dry, no real issue. But in icy conditions, the correction could result in a loss of stability. I simply turn off eyesight steering control when conditions are icy. Probably worth mentioning to customers when they purchase a Subaru with the eyesight. Otherwise, I think that the risk described above is minor when compared to all of the reduced risks eyesight offers. The vehicle is excellent. It remains a pleasure to drive.

THE AWESOME MACHINE!!!

The perfect car for this country. Big enough to seat two big adults and 3 or 4 grand kids. Never gets stuck. When my husband had to go to the hospital Christmas day, and the fresh snow was 2' deep and the roads were not yet plowed I was able to get him there with no problem. In some areas I was actually "plowing snow) with the bumper. When the road was icy, no problem, just use common sense while driving. I can haul 2 or 3 100lb. sacks of grain in the trunk, or lumber on the roof rack, or sleds, or a small boat. AND the car always looks nice, with min. basic care. When the kids were growing up and we lived 20 miles from the high school, every one had a Subaru. Even the older models kept them going so that they could be involved in "after-school" sports and activities. WOW what a car!!! I trade it in every 3 yrs. or so. and always get a great new one. 2019 Subaru Outback

Great car...we now have 16K miles on it and have driven it on long trips as well as through the snow, rain, etc. All wheel drive is really good in the snow. The mileage is great. Got close to 32 on a long trip and about 28 around town. We love the sound system and the cruise control is especially great on the freeway.

Lovely comfy car

My 2019 Outback Touring...is such a nice car...although we bought it to start touring the countryside in our first year of retirement...covid has put a hold on that...it has been a great car for taking our bicycles out to country roads for a nice long ride. I love all the little extras like heated steering wheel and seats along with comfortable seats and loads of space for all our gear. Looking forward to being able to drive across country to visit family in style and comfort

A few notes about possible improvements

1. More adjustable headrests--specifically front to back adjustability. 2. A little less locking-up of the seat belts so can bend forward a little easier e.g. to adjust/tie shoes 3. Parking brake should be set by downward motion instead of upward motion. My dog can release the parking brake after I leave the car. 4. Make buttons adjacent to parking brake lockable so my dog cannot press and change these switches. 5. Will Subaru respond to me about these notes??
