Almost 500,000 miles

I have had very few problems and have over 450,000 miles. I ordered the vehicle to my specifications and have owned it since 1996. I originally only had Toyota service and parts. I have no complaints.

TOYOTA IS TOP NOTCH

I bought my Toyota as a used car and could not be happier with my decision. It has 228,000 miles on it's and still going strong. Paint job is starting to suffer, but the car was never garaged. I am considering getting it repainted, in spite of its high mileage.

Toyota keeps going

26000 plus miles and still rides and handle like it will live another 20 years. I would buy a new one. But not in need of one. Would reccomend this model Toyota to everyone everyone. Comfort and styling ease of handling. No out of date styling. Need some modern updates

dependable class with power

1997 Avalons looks classy and perform like a dream. The virtuous engine responds with serious power. The room in the interior is expansive. The ride is comfy and quiet. I hope they go back to this look soon... more low-slung and not so egg-shaped.

Great older car

When I bought the 1997 Avalon, it already had over 344,000 miles on it. Since then, I have had the battery, alternator and starter replaced. The car runs smooth as silk and I have gotten used to the high end comfort features that I never had in any other car.

Reliable Affordable

I have a 2 owner 1997 Toyota Avalon XL with 188000 on the odometer. No bells, no whistles. It has a huge and comfortable cabin, big trunk, costs very little for regular maintenance and daily use, and is absolutely amazing in the snow, and pretty thrifty on fuel. It's a 20 year old car, it's needed some things like a head gasket and timing belt, fuel pump, front and rear suspension. All of those things being replaced have probably given me another 50-100k miles to save my money.

This car has been spectacular. Still looks well, drives well and is 19 years old. This car was well equipped for the era.

I do not understand the Question .......

I bought my Avalon in Jan 2000, ( pre-owned ) , never had any Trouble except Maintanance, until lately , when Oil-leaks started ( due to Age ? ) and now with almost 180,000 Miles I am still happy , don't need a new Car , love Toyota.......
