Van Horn Hyundai warranty service
After failing to complete a warranty service repair on the first attempt Van Horn did make a strong attempt to resolve the issue. For this reason I can revise the rating up to 4 stars. I did ultimately have the repair completed by another Hyundai dealership mainly due to their proximity to my work location.

Good day,

Thank you for taking the time to fill out our survey. I am sorry as it looks like we let you down on your last visit. We certainly understand your frustration. Unfortunately, we are bound to what the manufacturer lets us repair depending on the situation. We never intend to have a vehicle return after repairs, but sometimes it does happen. I was made aware last night that the check engine lamp has indeed turned back on and we need to readdress the concern.  I have already attempted to reach out this morning as I would like to pick up your vehicle and get it back to our facility to resolve this issue.  Please contact me immediately if this message reaches you prior to my voicemail.  It is our number one goal to ensure all vehicle concerns are repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible. We value your time and you as a customer and again apologize for your frustration and the inconvenience.

Service top notch! Sales Dept is dishonest.
The service dept. is great! Will continue to service our vehicle there. Their service dept gets 5 Stars! Mr. Elliiott was kind, courteous, and explained everything to us. Will never buy another car from Van Horn. My step dad went there crippled over, 83 years old with no short term memory, and they conned him into leasing a Hyundai Genesis .. He is in hospice dying, lost his license within a few months of buying the car and is stuck paying for a car he doesn't even remember many of the details about the leasing. He did not realize he couldn't sell it if he could no longer drive it. It is in his garage since he last drove it in Aug 2018. dead battery cuz we have not even started it or ran it. No one will help us get out of this mess and until he passes it will sit in his garage, not a good group of salesman (or in this case woman). anyone who would take advantage of a 83 year old man does not earn my repeat buying from. Love hyundai, but from now on when we buy our next one it will be from another dealer. In Fact we did buy a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe from Zimbrick in July of this year. I love the service dept. at Van Horn, just not their sale practices. An 83 year old mam, with a cane, doubled over (can't stand up straight), moving slow, no short memory which the salesman should of noticed from his repeat visit and how she had to repeat what she said constantly. The longer it sits in his garage the older it gets, things can go wrong (battery is already dead), and the less it is worth.

I bought my car a year or two ago and worked with Jake, he was great at showing me the different features of my Santa Fe, which I still love. Love working with Van Horn. The only thing I would have to complain about is, although the state does not mandate mask wearing, it would have been nice to see the staff wearing masks. The website even states that it is a measure the staff takes to protect against spread of covid.

Friendly, capable, efficient staff. Great vehicle.
I have had my Tuscon since it was new in the showroom. I tried it out and purchased it immediately. It has all the safety features one could have. It has 3 modes for acceleration which is especially enjoyable in sport mode. It's comfortable and the seats have heaters in them. The front seats also have air conditioning. Driving it is a joy! My grandkids love the overhead windows to view the sky. I can't be happier with choosing Van Horn Hyundai, Fond du Lac. Thank you for knowing what I needed and wanted!
