I made the mistake of thinking that the 3750 mile check up recommended by Hyundai for my new Santa Fe needed to be done at a dealership. I assumed that this checkup entailed more than an oil change. If I'd known, I'd have the oil change done at a reliable (and likely less expensive) shop. Since I bought my vehicle at a dealership hours away, I'm not able to easily take advantage of the 'free' servicing they offer new buyers.
