Not St A Hyundai's best performance
Had to tell the person scheduling the appointment that they probably needed more than 2 hours for a 30K mile service. Then got quoted one price when checking the car in for service and charged a higher price when checking out. The person checking me out tells me, no, it's always been the higher price for the 30K service, only to come back 10 minutes later to say the person checking me in was using an old rate sheet. So apparently it hasn't "always been" the higher price. Did she think I was lying?

Acceptable Service
Everything was fine, except I brought 3 coupons they sent me and could only use one. I drive 20 plus miles to get my car serviced there. They can at least honor all the coupons for parts and oil change at one time.

Bad experience
The mechanic showed me rust in the undercarriage & insinuated that the whole exhaust & brake systems were in danger of falling off & fixing it would cost thousands. He said my car must have been immersed in water (it has not) & scared me to the point t I was afraid to drive home. Luckily I know an independent mechanic who, after looking at the car, said that I will probably need new break pads in a few months, but otherwise the amount of rust is normal for a beach car.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. My sincere apologies as it is never our intention to scare you of your vehicle's condition. Looking at the photographs we took and attached to your multipoint inspection sheet, we would recommend having another "trusted" mechanic look it over again. The pictures clearly show how unsafe it is... We have always been upfront and honest with you and we didn't even try to sell you anything but rather recommended you contact your insurance company because in our professional opinion your vehicle is not road worthy. Also curious why your mechanic would say you would need brakes soon when your vehicle has only 12,000 miles? Again, our apologies for sharing the bad news with you and it would be my pleasure to discuss this further with you, as we truly care for all of our guests and keeping everyone safe on the road.

Took my 2017 Tuscon in for an oil change. The service noticed that my battery had low voltage and it was still in warranty. They put installed the new battery at no charge. They also washed and vacuumed my vehicle before returning back to me.

My Santa Fe service
First, it is close to where I live. I like the service website a lot. It is very easy to schedule your service. They took my vehicle in right on schedule and did the oil change and other required maintenance in a short period of time. All personal were very friendly.

I scheduled a parts recall service appointment and they didn't have the part available. They did find the part the next available day and called me in and squeezed me in and changed the part. They also filled up my gas tank for my inconvenience. Definitely made me happy because they went out of their way to fix the situation.
