Lithia Motors Doesn’t care about its customers!!!
I’ve been dealing with this dealership for 12 years and they are nothing but exceptional, professional, and customer friendly! All that changed when Lithia motors purchased them. Lithia Motors has managed to implement policies that inconvenience customers and cost them more money. The employees know it and openly talk about it. John Gauvey is the only reason I continue to deal with this dealership and their poor ownership. Lithia motors has ruined what John Garvey and Scott Fink have spent years building.

Service advisor poor communication
Had trouble getting service advisor to update when he said he would. Car in service for extended period (26 days). Poor communication until service Dept director took over case and began updating us when he said he would. Still do not feel AC is 100% fixed and not getting a return call from advisor after 2 messages left for him.

This visit was not a good service department interaction. Prior visits were ok, but this time, not so much. We are happy with our vehicle, however, less than satisfied with the service department on this occasion.

Review after issue with service associate.
Keith Flynn, service manager quickly addressed an issue that occurred after my service appointment that was related to pricing and an associate. Keith was very understanding of my concern and I was very appreciative of his resolution. I am confident that the next service experience will be a good one that will keep me coming back to Wesley Chapel Hyundai for my car needs.

The BUT part....I went to this dealer to buy a car. I picked out a turbo Sonata that I really liked. I wanted a cash price but they kept talking payments. They would not tell me the price because they claimed I would take that price to another dealer to get a better price. So, I went to another dealer and I bought a car, for cash.

Rated too quickly...failed to reset service reminder
Took my Tucson in for routine maintenance 2 weeks ahead of dashboard reminder. Service was quick but today I am still getting notifications of upcoming service. I called the service department and they tell me that they must have forgot to reset the service reminder and asked if I could come back by since it can't be done remotely. Seriously this would be annoying anytime but in the current social distancing world this is ludicrous. The dealer was not overwhelmed so no excuse for such a simple oversight. I am getting very disillusioned with this service department.

Quit adding on extensive services that are not needed.
You guys used to be really good about not jacking up services. The new guy must have worked for Chevy. He added on over $500 worth of unnecessary services and sent them to my text messages via some new program you have. I was very upset to see that. You guys used to be so respectful.

Losing faith
Always loved this place and the Hyundai family but things seem to be sliding over the last few years, not only in service but quality of the product and concern of the customer. I think I’ll be shopping around for a new family with my next vehicle.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME EXPECTING USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS! THEY'LL LET YOU DRIVE OFF THE LOT WITH TONS OF PROBLEMS, THEN EMAIL YOU ABOUT THEM SAYING YOU SHOULD GET THESE DONE EVEN THOUGH NOTHING WAS EVER RECOMMENDED. WHEN I MENTIONED THE CONCERN TO THE SERVICE AGENT JUSTIN HIS RESPONSE WAS LITERALLY " I DON'T KNOW SOMETIMES RECOMMENDATIONS FALL OFF."
