Great compact SUV for the value
If there's anything that can be said about the 2021 Kona Limited it's that it is loaded with great features! Sure, it's a small crossover SUV with limited space, but that's why its in the subcompact category! However, for the amount of features and technology packed into this little thing, it sure makes it worth it if you don't need a giant vehicle to get around from day to day. You get a lot for a great price!
From lane keep assist to forward collision warning, downhill control, blind spot sensors, backup camera and rear cross traffic sensors, heated leather seats, digital displays and screens, sliding sunroof, premium sound and speakers, etc., there's no shortage of premium goods packed in to this little thing!
Even with the turbo engine giving it a boost from 175 hp to 195, I was worried that the Kona just wasn't going to come close to the power and performance of my 249 hp v6 engine 09' Sonata. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the turbo performs and how quickly it produces adequate torque to get you going, which made it much easier to let go of my ol' Sonata!
The Kona handles great with the link suspension, and the AWD gives you peace of mind in wet/slick driving conditions...you can't ask for more than that. While I'm not a fan of the wheel fenders and rear bumper not being the same color as the rest of the exterior, the pros of the vehicle overall outweighed that con, and I compromised with myself on it. Overall, it's a great little suv and I do not regret making this purchase, not one bit!
