Awesome little SUV

The Kona is so much fun to drive! It gets GREAT gas mileage! I live in a touristy area, so there's a lot of stop and go driving. I get 32 city and 42 highway.

Typical Small Vehicle

Overall, car is just ok. There has been an acceleration issue since day one which service department says is normal for this vehicle. Now the horn just quit working. Leg room in rear seat is very tight. Outside noise seems loud inside vehicle which driving.

Excellent car for my uses

I just use this car for a short commute to work. Mainly highway. It maneuvers quite well and is good on handling the gas efficiency . For short trips is perfect. For long trips it works but not ideal.

2023 Hyundai Kona

I would have given a 5 star "Excellent" except that our brand new vehicle (at the time of purchase) had an immediate engine oil leak which took the Killeen Hyundai dealership Service Center a number of attempts before the Service department finally identified the cause of the engine oil leak (via a photo I took and provided) was due to the engine oil pan gasket (defective at the time of install at the South Korea vehicle assembly factory). Also, waiting 3-4 days for the Killeen Hyundai dealership Service Center just to perform "diagnostics" was too long of a wait to be without our vehicle.
