My Palisade

My 2024 Hyundai Palisade has exceeded my expectations in every way. The ride is smooth and quiet, the interior is comfortable and well-designed, and the technology is easy to use. Going to work or taking long road trips, the Palisade provides a comfortable, confident, and enjoyable driving experience. It has been one of the best vehicle purchases I've ever made, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, well-equipped SUV.

Comfortable and so far reliable

Confessing, easy to drive, good visibility. So far very reliable, but recently have noticed a skipping sensation when turning and accelerating… possibly rear differential or transmission?

Pallisade

The car has been descent, but feel like it is overpriced for what you actually receive. The wear and tear is frequent on the chrome for a calligraphy edition. Manufacturer tire and battery didn’t last that long. The maintenance it needs and recalls take forever and are frequent and inconvenient. This will probably be the last Hyundai we have.

Best Vehicle I've Ever Owned

I bought her slightly used/previously enjoyed with only 5K miles and have been loving this car for over a year. I've recently been travelling a lot and had to rent a car wherever I went and nothing compares to coming home to "Sadie." My D-I-L called it a Mom Mobile, I call it my Luxury Limo (driven by me). I'm sure I'll never use all the features but what I especially appreciate is the cruise control with lane assistance and the Climate Start. Oh yeah, and the "cool your buns" and heated steering wheel, depending on the climate. It's a road machine and we are taking a trip up north next month - let's see how she does in the mountains!

Good in some areas, lacking in others

Things I liked: Good power for everyday driving. Surprisingly spacious third row compared to many competitors. Solid fuel economy for a three-row SUV. Strong value and pricing compared to similarly equipped competitors. Things I didn't like: No walk-away auto lock feature. I was never able to successfully pair the Hyundai app with the vehicle despite multiple attempts. I wish my trim had the option for a second-row bench seat, which would have provided more flexibility for passengers and cargo. Cargo space behind the third row is smaller than I'd like. The paint is extremely soft and chips or scratches far more easily than any vehicle I've owned. The interior door panels use too much hard plastic, which shows wear quickly. There's an excessive amount of piano black trim on the dashboard and center console, making fingerprints and dust constantly visible. Personal preferences: These aren't necessarily flaws, but they didn't fit what I prefer. The driving position feels lower than I expected, almost like sitting in a large sedan rather than a midsize SUV. I prefer a higher, more commanding seating position that gives a better view of the road. Overall: The vehicle was reliable and met my family's needs, offering good value, decent performance, and practical third-row space. However, the interior material choices, soft paint, limited cargo room, and lower driving position kept it from being a vehicle I'd purchase again.

Pailsade 4.5 stars

Would be 5 stars but some glitches (chair doesn’t always move to correct place when I turn the car on) and recalls that have been open for WAY too long (seatbelt latches and now third row potentially not being safe due to head displacement).

A very nice ride

This vehicle does everything well. Comfortable, good ride quality and gas mileage. Handles well for a big SUV. Excellent and useable interior room. Good styling and tech features. Luxury at a value price.
