Good in some areas, lacking in others

Things I liked: Good power for everyday driving. Surprisingly spacious third row compared to many competitors. Solid fuel economy for a three-row SUV. Strong value and pricing compared to similarly equipped competitors. Things I didn't like: No walk-away auto lock feature. I was never able to successfully pair the Hyundai app with the vehicle despite multiple attempts. I wish my trim had the option for a second-row bench seat, which would have provided more flexibility for passengers and cargo. Cargo space behind the third row is smaller than I'd like. The paint is extremely soft and chips or scratches far more easily than any vehicle I've owned. The interior door panels use too much hard plastic, which shows wear quickly. There's an excessive amount of piano black trim on the dashboard and center console, making fingerprints and dust constantly visible. Personal preferences: These aren't necessarily flaws, but they didn't fit what I prefer. The driving position feels lower than I expected, almost like sitting in a large sedan rather than a midsize SUV. I prefer a higher, more commanding seating position that gives a better view of the road. Overall: The vehicle was reliable and met my family's needs, offering good value, decent performance, and practical third-row space. However, the interior material choices, soft paint, limited cargo room, and lower driving position kept it from being a vehicle I'd purchase again.

Pailsade 4.5 stars

Would be 5 stars but some glitches (chair doesn’t always move to correct place when I turn the car on) and recalls that have been open for WAY too long (seatbelt latches and now third row potentially not being safe due to head displacement).

A very nice ride

This vehicle does everything well. Comfortable, good ride quality and gas mileage. Handles well for a big SUV. Excellent and useable interior room. Good styling and tech features. Luxury at a value price.

Almost perfect!

Overall the 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Edition includes all of the high end features that would typically costs thousands to add-on. All wheel drive, heated and cooled seating in every row, automatic folding 2nd and 3rd rows, heads up display and many other anti-collision safety features. The Palisade drives smoothly, responds well, and has good turning radius. The vehicle itself is almost perfect, except it's lacking auto-fold mirrors (an unfortunate compromise Hyundai had to make). For those who cycle and attach a rear bike rack, the option to disable automatic braking should be made easier. This still could be made available since it only requires a software update. Navigating the touchscreen display is not difficult and can be customized to emphasize preferred apps for quick access. There are many styling options to customize the display and interior lighting. My favorite feature is the driver's seat massage function. It makes longer drives more comfortable and alleviates fatigue. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a vehicle that offers luxury without the premium price tag. It combines premium features, comfort, and the dependable reliability the brand is known for, making it an excellent value.

2024 Palisade

I purchased the Palisade after owning 2 prior Santa Fe's. The 2021 Santa Fe Limited I owned was a nice, comfortable vehicle. I purchased the 2024 Palisade Limited based on prior Hyundai ownership and vehicle size. While my satisfaction with the vehicle is high, I was disappointed to find that the vehicle was not equipped with folding side view mirrors like my Santa Fe Limited was equipped. My other disappointment is the fact that I needed an auxilliary USB cord to use my Android Auto feature on my phone. This cord is a nuisance. I recently drove a 2026 Santa Fe as a rental and did not need the cord to use these features. With the Palisade being the top of the Hyundai SUV lineup, I would expect that these features would standard especially on the Limited trim package.

This car is a great car for what you pay. Similar vehicles with the options the palisade has would be twice as much. This is our second palisade and we have so far had zero issues

Unsatisfied

Car is fine but the electrical and ability to find when there is an issue is very disappointing. My car has an issue with the dashboard all sensors and air etc going out and after weeks of keeping the car and seeing the issue without answers the best Hyundai service has is drive it until it does it again then they will expedite the case issue but until then just drive it

Suspension problems are ridiculous

Rear suspension issue has kept me in a regular routine of taking this suv to shop to dealer about the knocking and thumping noise coming from the of vehicle. They even took the car for weeks and took the rear end apart and tried to repair. Nope - still knocking and it also now has the front suspension making noises. Very disappointed in the year model. I was told at the dealership it would be a good slides to apply for the buyback program. I did this and it was denied. Ridiculous. If anyone working there had a vehicle that required days long repairs multiple times per year they would say the car is a dumpster fire and probably never buy it again. Please look up my buyback request and contact me to discuss how this vehicle is not a lemon. Or better yet, buy this year model back and I’ll go buy the newest year model.

My Favorite Car Ever!

Best car for value, comfort, safety, and accessories. I drive long distances and this car provides the comfort I need to enjoy the ride. The driver's massage seat is a plus. My passengers wish their seat had that option.

Back order for months and months

My car needs a new something for the wheel access, and has been on back order since March. With no date in sight. I’ve been told the car is fine to drive, but I’ve spent almost this whole year with a new vehicle that needs a part that you just don’t have. This car is leashed and I will 100% be turning the car in instead of buying the car out
