A truck that feels like a car!

The Santa Cruz - is a beautiful cross between a truck and a car in how it handles, curves, curb appeal, and utility. The 2.5 turbo is an amazing feature that allows this to get up and go - and the gas mileage thus far is amazing! I was going to get the top-line model - but fell in love the the one I bought. The only thing I wish my Cruz had is cooling seats and back-up / parking sensors (audible). Without it, though, I am not worried. This vehicle is amazing!

Perfect vehicle for those who can't decide between a pickup or SUV

Hyundai has gotten a LOT right with this car. They missed on some things I consider big, though. I got the highest trim package and it didn't come with some things I thought it should...Like a rearview camera option instead of rearview mirror - for a truck with a tiny back window and possibly tall cargo blocking your view, this seems like a no-brainer....also how about power passenger seat, adjustable height headlights, a much better and more adjustable sound system, air vents in the back seat, an exterior light that comes on to light the corners when you have your turn signal on, visor programmable buttons for garage doors or lights, and most of all...the ability to avoid highways on the onboard navigation. (That nav is really bad and should not be at that price point).

Gas milage is poor. Love the hatch and back trunk. Radio and apple connect are poor. Dealer gets a 1star only
