Love the idea but 2 years in I'm worried

I bought my Santa Cruz back in 24 and have loved the vehicle my biggest concern is I'm starting to get some rattling when accelerating and it's very concerning considering I'm only 25k miles in. I also am getting a rattle from inside the steering wheel and am starting to get moisture build up in a tail light I really really want to love this vehicle but I'm concerned Hyundai might not have been the best choice for my first new car.

I’m not a fan of “boxy” vehicles, so I feel that the Santa Cruz was uniquely designed with nice curves.

Awesome Santa Cruz

My Santa Cruz is 2 years old and has 14,000 miles on it. It is in near perfect condition with no accidents and no significant issues. We have driven it back and forth to Goodyear, AZ and suburb of Phoenix which accounts for close to 3,000 of those miles and had no problems handling the various changes in altitude and terrain from Midwestern prairies and rolling hills, to the Mountains and Canyons of the Rockies to the Forests and upper deserts of Utah to the Saguaro Cactus and Sonoran Desert of Arizona. It can also handle a heavy load of luggage or materials in it's small size bed too.

Is the vehicle goood

I really like the car. It’s very comfortable, and overall I’m happy with it. The only thing that disappoints me is that they haven’t been able to fix the bed cover. Whenever it rains, water gets inside. I’ve already been told that this is a factory issue.

Don't know what you want here

I don't understand why you have to lock and unlock the vehicle with the key fob. I like the convenience of locking a vehicle on a door lock on my way out of the vehicle. Also vehicle mysteriously locks itself at times.

Good overall vehicle with versatility

Sante cruz is reliable and a modern el Camino. Only 2 complaints- base engine is underpowered and the infocenter touch screen cuts out sometimes. (Probably loose connection)

Little trk/car

This trk /car is fun to drive. It handles well, it does however have terrible blind spots. Thank goodness for all of the warning sensors and cameras. Trailering a small trailer is fine. Handles well in the snow. truck bed is adequate. Sound system is good. Overall my wife loves the car.
