Love this truck!

This truck was the very first brand new vehicle I have ever bought. I have only ever bought used vehicles previously. I initially meant to buy an SUV, but when I saw the Santa Cruz, I was immediately in love. I took it for a test drive and I asked my teenager his opinion. His response was, “You need this truck, Mom.” I’ve now had this truck for almost 2 years and I have zero regrets. I have made down some pretty bad roads, hauled all kinds of stuff in the back, and driven two teenagers on a 5 day roadtrip from Texas to Arizona. I’ve never had any significant issues and routine maintenance is the only expense I’ve had to pay. It gets decent gas mileage for a truck, and I do like the different drive modes for different weather/road conditions. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. As a single mom who has to be very careful with big expenditures, and someone who thoroughly researched all available options…I feel like this was a solid purchase. I have had random strangers ask me about my truck on many occasions, and I always recommend buying one. The underwear storage in the back and the storage compartment under the bedliner are always great selling points. I talk about how I chose the bed extender and have been able to load up my kayaks easily for weekend adventures. I even convinced a friend of mine to buy one! My only issue is that now I want another one.

Great small truck for senior.

Had my 2024 Santa Cruz for 18 months .I only traded it on a new 2026 because I found out Hyundai was discontinuing Santa Cruz. This is a great all around vehicle for someone who wants or needs a small pickup from time to time. The Santa Cruz drives and rides as good as any full size car. I have had 0 issues mechanically . I did have a wheel trim come loose and dealer replaced all 4 around each wheel at no cost to me. I love this little truck and it is way nicer than the ugly Ford Maverick!!

Great Mini Pickup

Very well appointed and an excellent ride. Great looks as well. My one bone of contention is, my Santa Cruz is the Night version; the second from the top, yet they did not put an auto-dimming rear view mirror in that version. For whatever reason, that is important to me. Ilove the black wheels better so the Night version was the choice, but the lack of that mirror is an annoyance.

Dealership dropped the ball

I enjoy the vehicle, but have had nothing but challenges using the Hyundai free oil changes. Sadly, the dealership may or may not have been doing this on purpose.

Love this car but road noise is high

I love this car, in black it's super unique and fun. I understand that the DCT transmission wasn't the best choice and might have been a decision that didn't work ultimately but I love the car. Im excited about future truck and rugged SUV options form your brand. My only complaint about the car is the road noise, adding some extra sound deadening would be amazing on all vehicles. For me that increases the luxury of any car no matter its place in the market. It's hard to hear clear audio on the highway above 70.

Please keep in mind the majority of the time I drive my car I am by myself, with my dog and my Husband. We do not use the back seat for passengers unless it is my small grand kids for short drives.
